Excellent house, excellent location, excellent hosts

The house matches the VRBO description and photos very well - one discrepancy was dealt with immediately by Julie and Nicholas. With a first class restaurant next door and many more in the vicinity it is a foodies paradise.

Immaculate property, beautifully presented in a fabulous location.

We were very well received by both Julie and Nicolas. The house is in a superb location and is very well equipped - the bed in particular being very comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay and would have no hesitation in recommending the property for a relaxing and peaceful holiday.

Das Haus ist super. Genau wie beschrieben. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Der Ausblick von der Küche beim Kochen ist der Hammer! Es hatte alles in der Küche zum täglichen Gebrauch. Im Wasser vor dem Haus kann man leider nicht schwimmen, aber es war trotzdem beruhigend, das Plätschern zu hören. Die Zimmer sind tiptop eingerichtet, die Betten bequem. Für unseren grossen Sohn (ca 1m80) war das einzelne Bett und die dazugehörende Decke zu kurz. Daher hat er die beiden Betten zusammengeschoben und unsere Decke benutzt. Im Haus hat es nur 2er Stecker; wir aus der Schweiz hatten z.T. Geräte mit 3er Stecker, welche wir nicht nutzen konnten. Was aber auch nicht schlimm war. Die Terrasse ist toll, leider konnten wir nirgends die Hängematte aufhängen - aber das tat dem Wohlbefinden nichts ab.Julie war immer sehr hilfsbereit, antwortete sofort auf meine Fragen und hiermit nochmals ein riesengrosses MERCI! Sehr zu empfehlen.

Super séjour

Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour. Nous avons aimé tellement de choses : la vue sur le bassin, la petite balade associée, l'achat des huitres en direct, la gare à 2 pas, le supermarché non loin, la dune du Pilat à 15 minutes, la communication avec nos hôtes, la décoration du logement, la cuisine super bien équipée, la literie confortable...Merci pour tout !

Ich liebe die Terrasse und den Ausblick

Wir haben den Aufenthalt absolut genossen. Das Auto haben wir nie benutzt. Wir sind mit dem Bus oder dem TER nach Bordeaux, zur Dune du Pilat, zum Cap Ferret und nach Arcachon gefahren. Schön war es dann, den Abend auf der tollen Terrasse ausklingen zu lassen. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und die Vermieter sind sehr nett. Vielen Dank nochmal für das Begrüßungsgeschenk! Silke

Un petit coin de paradis

Comme sur les photos et les commentaires location située au bord de l'eau, calme absolu, quiétude des lieux, la maison est très bien équipée. L'accueil de Julie, ses conseils, ses bonnes adresses (cabane à Ludo pour les amateurs d'huitres) sont au top. Tout est à proximité, marché, gare, etc.... Tout est prévu pour les déplacements à vélo, piste cyclable devant la maison. Expérience à renouveler, location à recommander.

Parfait séjour

Belle maison en bois avec une vue à couper le souffle. On ne s'en lasse pas : matin, midi et soir, un vrai régal qu'on soit sur la terrasse ou à l'intérieur. Très ressourçant et reposant. Belle décoration, literies au top, équipement complet, buanderie très pratique et local à vélos, un vrai plus. Quant à la voie de chemin de fer, aucune gêne ressentie (pas de circulation la nuit). Tout était réuni pour passer un bon séjour et merci à Julie pour sa bienveillance.

Tolles Haus, tolle Lage

Wir haben uns in diesem schönen und geräumigen Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Terasse über dem Wasser und der Blick aus Wohnzimmer, Schlafzimmer und Küche war traumhaft. Die Straße und die Bahnlinie vor dem Haus hat uns überhaupt nicht gestört. Da wir mit dem Zug angereist sind war die Nähe zum Bahnhof optimal. Die direkte Umgebung mit den Austernhäfen und den Restaurants hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Bäcker, Supermarkt und Wochenmarkt waren sehr gut erreichbar. Wir haben eine tolle und sehr entspannte Zeit hier verbracht.

Très belle vue

Maison bien équipée avec une jolie décoration. Terrasse très agréable avec une belle vue sur la lagune. Seul bémol, on aurait souhaité être informées de la proximité de la voie ferrée.
