Or our intimate 1 bedroom Pumpkin home also on the same street (sleeps 2-3): Pumpkin House: airbnb.com/rooms/18252075
* Pool is heated to 80 degrees from about April thru October. It is shared with the next door property (owners) and provides a space for us to meet and enjoy the company of guests with our community of friends.
Guests have the entire house; each front & back porch (BBQ & laundry access here), 2nd floor outdoor balconies; hot tub, with a private gate to the shared pool/deck; off street parking for 4 autos. The Beach is just across the street from the house and accessible via public easement.
Owners live next door and have separate access to the pool/deck. Being all about building community, the large pool area is a space to share with friends old and new, while preserving access to your private hot tub/retreat, and rental home. The pool is heated in the summer/warm weather months.
The house is set across the street from the longest strip of public beach in town, on the south side of the Russian River. Guerneville’s charming downtown restaurants, antique stores, bars, and nightlife spots are a short drive away.
Cab service is available, though a call will likely be required: * Bill's Taxi - 1 (707) 869-2177), www.billstaxiservices.com/; * Monte Rio Taxi - 1 (707) 849-6802; https://www.monterio-taxi.com/ * Ride services such as Lyft and Uber are not unknown, though the population density hereabouts (as compared to Santa Rosa, about 25 minutes away) influences availability
• Sonoma County Transit bus service originating in Santa Rosa (~ 20 miles east) come through, though infrequently.
The lodge is VERY dog friendly and the yard is secured by a gate. The Beach access is just across the street from the house, by public easement. Locals routinely have their furry friends playing off-leash at the river (while striving to maintain owner responsibility to 'pick up after' ;-).

Great house. Having access to a private beach across the street was incredible, plus all the on-site amenities (hot tub, pool, deck, grill). Definitely recommend for larger groups.

Comfy and Cozy
We enjoyed the Riverside Lodge very much! There were a few tiny issues. When I received the Check-in email it did not include the Access Code. So upon arrival we had to contact the owner. We had access within about 20-minutes. In addition upon initially entering there was a very strong wet dog smell. We found some air freshener and spray it which seemed to help. It may have just been because the house has been closed up for awhile. The hot tub never got above 90 degrees which is still not very warm. It also seemed to keep tripping the breaker. Eric was very responsive. We would stay again!

Redwood Cabin
Outside areas were not maintained and guest are expected to sweep. Bit of a turn off right out of the gate. Very kind and helpful owners. Living room with the only television in the house has one small couch and no additional seating.

Perfect for our family reunion
This property was perfect for my family's reunion. It's a spacious home with comfortable bedrooms and common spaces. It has an awesome location to the river and when it was too cold for us to go in the river, we could use the pool and hot tub. The host is very responsive. I would definitely recommend this property to others and would happily book it again.

This property is good for large groups. Owner was responsive and helpful when the lock code didn’t work and the bathroom needed a repair. All was remedied quickly and without fuss. Living areas appear larger in photos but bedrooms are plenty big and beds are comfortable. The hot tub and pool were big hits with the kids. Great to have indoor space where groups could separate and not feel on top of each other. Also, being able to easily walk to the river was a real benefit.

Comfortable, clean, and relaxing stay!
Plenty of living space and a well equipped kitchen made for a stress free week with our family of nine. Two communal areas allowed for both World Cup watching and intimate conversations. The house was well taken care of and we could find all we needed for a comfortable stay. From compost liners to toilet paper, supplies were provided in a thoughtful and convenient way. The check out process was very simple.
Eric was responsive to our questions and always kind. We highly recommend this property!
