Great host
The host was very warm, friendly, attentive, available. Her English is very fluent.She let us check in many hours early, on almost no notice, and let us extend an extra night, also at the last minute.The living area is bright and open, with high ceilings and plenty of lighting.A few inaccuracies in the description -- some of which you might argue underrate the property.The amenity listed as "washing machine" is inaccurate. What is available would be better described as "laundry service" where you give her the dirty laundry and she washes it for you -- arguably an upgrade.The stove is a gas appliance, contrary to the description. Many folks may prefer it that way.The description says one bathroom, but in fact there are two - one on each floor.When the windows are open, the location is often noisy from workers and traffic. But we found we could adapt to that fairly quickly.Not clear from the description -- the property is on two floors, and starts on the second floor. This means many stairs, visible in a couple of the pics. For most people this should be OK. For some old folks (like me) this may be a challenge. (On the other hand, it feels more secure not to be on the ground floor.)However, privacy was an issue, at least for Westerners like us, mostly because the host (and friends or relatives) must use these same stairs to get to her apartment on the floor above ours. Some kind of curtains could improve that issue.
