Upon check in, entering our room there was a strong food smell. In the microwave someone had left a bag of chopped onions and a cup of liquid. It smelled awful in the room. Took to front desk, we were moved to different room.

Nice hotel for business or leisure

Pros: It is close to my family and is very comfortable
Location: We stay at this hotel when visiting family
Check in is easy, the rooms are nice - breakfast has a good variety

Very conveniently located

Pros: Very comfortable. Nice breakfast room and variety.
Location: We chose this location because of proximity to our friends, not W. Palm Beach, but it seemed close to the downtown area as well as the airport.
We used this hotel because it was close to our friends' house. We had a handicapped room (which we did not request), and it was very nice and spacious. I may request that type of room in the future if one is available.

Overnight stay

Booked online and initially booked and paid for the wrong day. Called and had no problem switching to correct day. When got into town I called the hotel and told them we would not be arriving until midnight they said that would fine. When we arrived the door was locked and no one was at desk. Desk clerk finally arrived to let me in. I told him we had a reservation and he said that he had no reservation in the system. I explained that I had made a mistake on the initial booking and it could be for another day. He said that there was one for initial booking, but did not have a reservation for today. I should him email that showed updated itinerary. Then instead of calling travelocity he said I had to call you. This took about 30 minutes to get this far in the conversation, because he started helping another guest with a key, and then started checking in another walkin guest. My wife and daughter had been waiting in the car all this time after a 12 hour drive. After I made contact with travelocity they said they would fax him the updated itinerary. Finally got the fax let us register. When we started checking out the next morning the new desk clerk told me that American Express had declined the charge for the room. I again explained that the room had already been paid for at booking and if they had questions to call Travelocity. Staff was very rude and not helpful.
