We were pretty disappointed with our stay at the Harborfront Inn. The staff we did interact with were pleasant and helpful and the location is excellent; however, the description of our room was misleading and inaccurate, and the quality of the room was nowhere near worth the $500 we paid for a single night. I specifically chose a waterfront view but the room overlooked a parking lot and offered little privacy. The water was visible from a distance but the room (211) was not waterfront. The balcony was nice but, again, you are mere feet away from cars, foot traffic and other guests and it didn’t feel relaxing or private. The quality of the bed was very poor. The mattress was hard as a rock with scratchy sheets that were sloppily made. It was not a comfortable sleep at all. Certainly not what I’d expect from a $500/night hotel. There were other guests’ hairs and lint visible on the mattress cover and stains on the bed skirt and rug which made me question/doubt the true cleanliness of the property. There was hand sanitizer readily available and rooms were marked as “sanitized” but I didn’t feel the room was clean based on what I saw. We were only staying one night so I didn’t make too much of a fuss but I would never go back or recommend this property.
