The double room was huge. It was very clean and plenty of space for luggage. The view of the lake was wonderful and even had a bald eagle fly by. The indoor swimming pool was huge.

We enjoyed the cleanliness & quality of linens and mattress. Would have like a screen slider to enjoy fresh air off the balcony. Definitely need an upgrade to in-room coffee facilities. The machine is very old style and uses horrible "filter pack" coffee that brews like a weak tea. Have not had this type of machine in years in other hotels, which have mostly upgraded to K-cups or Nespresso. Also could use a simple hot water kettle for tea or pour over coffee. We also noted absence of gluten free dessert options in the fine dining restaurant. At the very least, every other restaurant of this type we've used over many years offers an ice cream option!

Everything was great. Very comfortable room with great view of the lake. Nice patio to see the sun come up. Food was very good at all the restaurants. We ate breakfast st the Oakwood. I felt bad for the waitress as she was the only one working all the tables. She did a fantastic job.

Everything was wonderful at this 4 Star lakeside hotel! The staff, the rooms, 2 pools (indoor & outdoor) 2 restaurants, 2 bars...& the view of the lake! My Birthday Dinner at the Oakwood Restaurant (at the Hotel) was one of the best meals I've had (dining out) in a very long time! I had the Crispy Skin Salmon w/Farrow & Beets. Although I was skeptical, based on the description.. I thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Everything from our Craft Cocktails, warm & freshly baked Rolls, Apps & Entrees were Fantastic! All 6 of us agreed!

Beautiful grounds, poor customer service

The ceiling in our room leaked when it rained. Maintenance left our ice bucket under it for the night which was fine, but when I needed to wash the clothes that were wet from the leak they charged for detergent and charged to use the washer. For a resort this nice the coffee is terrible (please do better than powdered creamer). Also it’s a small thing but every other hotel we stayed at during this trip (5 total) provided ice water in the lobby and free 24h coffee (with real creamer).
