The property was what we expected - rustic. We were there with our grandchildren and this was the perfect location - close to the beach and just a mile from the center of town. The kitchen had all the cooking pots, pans, utensils needed. One downside was the knives were very dull. There is a comfortable outdoor sitting area with grills (charcoal and propane) and a firepit. We took advantage of both. The washer and dryer were in a separate room that turned out to be a perfect room for us to set up the pack ‘n play for our one year old granddaughter. Originally, we thought she would end up in her parents’ room. As I said, we consider the house ‘rustic’. It has squeaky floors and stairs. The bathrooms are on the small side. We had no problems with these things. We will definitely look to book here in the future.

A Beach House for all
Our stay at Blue Yonder was everything we hoped. The access to the beach was perfect and easy. We enjoyed the big porch and views of Lake Michigan and the sunset! The house had everything we needed including a grill and fire pit (first time for s’mores for our grand child!). It was clean and comfortable. We highly recommend a stay at Blue Yonder for your family or group.

Perfect location, comfortable space. We would love to be able to rent again.
It worked well and we had a great time. My only issue is not providing beach towels or an iron at a beach house. Beach towels are too much to pack for a long vacation. We would love to come back... we have many family events in this town as family lives here. For weddings/funerals which are big family events, irons are necessary when travelling w/ a big group. We were blessed to have family there who had an additional 10 beach towels, thank goodness. Thank you so much for everything else.

Great Cabin Type Beach House
We loved staying at this beach house. Built in 1936, this house reminded me of my youth staying at Pawley’s Island, SC in the old cabin type beach houses—-before the town was rebuilt after hurricane Hugo. This house was clean, beds were comfortable. A/C worked and there was great water pressure for the shower and lots of clean white towels. We spent every morning drinking coffee in the enclosed porch overlooking the ocean while also watching deer, birds and turkeys walk by! Located right across the street from the beach. If you are looking for a new, sleek, modern home then this won’t be for you, but we really loved it! Would definitely stay again.

September is a gorgeous beach month
We loved that there were so many different areas to hang out and relax with our favorite being the wonderful porch and fire pit area. Easy access to the beach and great location from the Pier to
the downtown area. The TV in the main living room area signal was to weak to get Netflix and wouldn’t load any other apps. A few of the mattresses need an upgrade and the bedding and room rugs could have been more clean. Overall the cottage had loads of personality and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Beach Location
Our main goal was to go to the beach every day and the location of this property couldn't be better. Literally a 5-7 min walk from doorstep to shoreline. The property itself was very cute, and most importantly CLEAN. The neighborhood is also quiet. With a few minor updates, it could be a 5 star property. We would definitely consider staying here again.

It was a good location. For the most part the house was good but it could have used a deeper dust cleaning, more towels, the lighting was scary that it was all plug in and the fan was hanging off the ceiling it wasn’t secured.

Good property.
Good property, great location, fair price for this older two story home. Had a blast with the kids on the beach, which was within close walking distance.
