Dirty and ill-maintained property
The housecleaning was completely lacking. Below are some of the things that I observed:
House cleaning: (Just to name some of the things, there are more, it is clear that this house has not had a deep cleaning in a LONG time) - Gross brown spots on tile next to toilet (which looked suspiciously like blood; and I cleaned myself) - Towels don’t match, some are old and have gray tinge to them; they are not uniformly folded or placed on the shelf in any order - Shower curtain smells sour, there is pink mildew at the base - Stains on pillow case covers - Floors are not clean (particularly under the furniture and by the baseboards, but in general - Throw rugs are stained and dirty - Windows and window frames are filthy - Microwave front and inside has not been cleaned - Hand prints on the mirror in the tv room - Dirty smudges on the banister
Maintenance: - BBQ collapsed (Propane was not provided. If this is listed as an amenity it should be in working order with all the supplies) - Curtain rod in tv room slid off when I opened the curtains; it is taped together and the ends fell off - Gouge in the drywall above the door to the hallway - Floor board piece loose and sometimes comes off - Toilet seat hinge is broken causing the seat to slide sideways - Missing outlet covers thagain uponretu
