A tad disappointed in that the water for our morning showers was at best ‘luke warm’. It’s not like the motel had a full slate or anything and we were in the shower early. Reported this to staff and was more or less discounted over it. Strike one…. Breakfast included - worse breakfast I ever had. Both order eggs Benny, waitress asked how we wanted our eggs. Told her poached, soft (of course). Our order came out of the kitchen with the eggs fried hard, and in fact mine were very brown on one side and on the verge of being burnt. The “hash whites” were not even cooked through and were white as snow. When shown to the waitress was told they can only cook the eggs one way. (????). Strike two. Upon leaving told the lady at the front desk of our experience and appeared to take a couple of notes, but no mention of ‘sorry for your trouble’ or any attempt to ‘make it right’. Strike three. In summation; a clean comfortable room with a nice view of the falls, but given the lack of hot water & the meal situation as well as not feeling like a valued customer (at all), I feel giving this establishment 3 stars is generous.

The staff of both the motel and restaurant that I encountered were super friendly and helpful. Being on the side closest to the road gets quite noisy especially in the morning when traffic picks up. Lots of big trucks rolling through.

Our rooms carpet was dirty with spots and the padded chairs had crumbs and dirt in between the cushions. For the rest, it was clean. The restaurant was very slow service due to under staffing.
