Having stayed at a few Embassy Suites over the years, I was very surprised by the "blahness" of this particular one. There was nothing unique about it, it was relatively clean but definitely showing its age. I was most disappointed by the lack of customer service at check-in time. I had to ask where the room was located and where we should park, as well as information for the wi-fi. The usual common courtesies provided at check-in It's as if COVID gave them an excuse to not do their job. I was also super disappointed in the lack of a social hour; not having one, but I don't see why hot chocolate and coffee couldn't still have been provided in some way. Breakfast was also supremely disappointing, although last time I stayed in Flagstaff, breakfast was cancelled completely, so I guess this was better than nothing. But honestly, no juice, coffee/tea, or milk offered? Finally, our reservation was for 2 adults and 3 children but we were only given enough cups, mugs, coffee, and hot chocolate in our room for 2 people. Oh, and the suitcase rack was broken so we had to put our large suitcase on the floor. What did we like? The two rooms and the two TVs, but that's pretty standard with this hotel, so I'm not sure that's even worth mentioning. We won't be staying here again. So disappointed.

Run down and old. Hallways were dirty and dinghy. Room was dirty, carpets in corners dusty, trash cans not cleaned and hand gunk in them. Window treatments torn. Window left open. Food service advertised was not what was in place. Complained with pics and videos to the MoD and was moved to a different room, supposedly super clean according to the website. Same dinginess and worn out furniture but somewhat cleaner room. Window was left open in this room also. Oh. Let’s not forget about the building being constructed 200 feet away that starts up at 6:30am, weekends included, and what was an empty parking lot is now full of construction vehicles. Overall I’d say spend your money somewhere else.

Very old Embassy suites and very little charm. No trash cans for guests to use so the trash piles up in your room if you order out. The pool had not been working for some time and the front desk assured us it was heated at check in. No snow removal in the pool or hot tub area. The breakfast donuts were still frozen and the parking lot had trash all over it. Our room heater did not work well and had to use a portable heater. There were rips chair in the living room. Front desk staff were full of excuse and flat out lies.

I arrive love early by about ten minutes. Spoke with desk personnel. Was told he couldn’t find my reservation that I made 3 months prior. We tried the travelocity itinerary and confirmation numbers. We tried by name. Of course they were completely full. He said I could stay at another property and he would make the reservation but that was all. While he was doing that I got on my phone and called the Drury just down the block. They were more than accommodating and after I explained the circumstances even gave me a deal. My family went and checked in there and grabbed some dinner. When we arrived back to the Drury I received a call from a lady at the Embassy. She said they were calling because they had our reservation and had to let us know they had oversold and there was no room, she proceeded to tell me they would make a reservation at a sister property and it would be comped. I asked why they didn’t do this two hours ago when I was there and they turned me away acting like I didn’t have a reservation. She asked for the entire story, then simply told me if you need anything else then let us know in the future. I was ready to blame Travelocity for this issue; however, when I received an unsolicited phone call from the hotel staff that obviously had no idea I had already been there which demonstrated they had the reservation and had just bumped us out it became apparent who the culprit was.

Every employee I encountered acknowledged me with a smile or greeting. Our room was very clean and spacious for your family of five. We were impressed by hospitality, breakfast, and cocktail hour. Staff memebers were quick to pick up after people who left ridiculous messes after breakfast and cocktail hour. I witnessed rude guest and watched hotel staff respond politely and positively. I will be stay here for future Flagstaff visits.

Great property!!

Pros: Clean and quiet.
Cons: A/C could have been set cooler. But not to bad for January. We opened the window at night.
Location: Great dinner at 1899 Bar and Grill. Awesome dinner.
A great place to stay while in Flagstaff. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean rooms. Rooms have a safe. Very quiet at night. We used their Jacuzzi in January after a long drive. The breakfast offered was excellent. A omelet Chef, buffet, hot and plenty of coffee. Huge breakfast room with several staff and the manager was also present.
