Discover the peace and quiet of Goudargues, Gard Provençal, in this charming stone holiday home set in 4.5 hectares of enchanting woodland. Run by Hans from Holland and Polly from Canada, a warm welcome awaits you just 4 km from Venise Gardoise, the endearing nickname for the village of Goudargues in Provence Gardoise. The gîte has a spacious living room with satellite TV, DVD player, dining area and a wood-burning stove. The sofa doubles as a comfortable bed for 1 or 2 children. The well-equipped kitchen invites you to make culinary discoveries, while the outdoor area beckons with a shaded terrace with al fresco dining and a gas barbecue. Dive into the 10 x 4.5 metre communal pool, surrounded by a spacious sunbathing lawn and inviting sun loungers. The property is located in the middle of the forest, 4 km from Goudargues. You are less than 10 minutes from the village, where you will find all the local shops, restaurants and even a supermarket. Nature lovers and sports enthusiasts can enjoy numerous hiking and mountain biking trails (300 km of which have been developed on 26 different routes!). Horse riding enthusiasts can visit the equestrian centre just 2 km away; sports enthusiasts can go canoeing on the river Cèze or go on fantastic bike rides, etc. Goudargues is also an ideal base for visiting the main tourist attractions in the area. A few important notes: The holiday home is located on the same plot as the owners' residence as well as two luxury tents, all with access to the communal pool.
