This was our second visit to Top Notch Inn with young kids. It’s a great, safe family-friendly place to stay with kids. A great location with a pool between Santa’s Village and Storyland with plenty of trails and other outdoor activities.

Standing at the door of our room, told us we had to park at restaurant next door. Imagine unloading and having to walk through this lot to your room. Person at the desk told us we were not allowed to park in the hotel lot even though there were spaces. When my husband acted upset, they finally conceded. There were at least 5 empty spots at the end of the evening and as well as in the morning. Our room was at the back of the build, on a corner just off a busy street, w/no parking allowed. NOT VERY WELCOMING!

I appreciate that the motel refunded me for the night I didn't stay, however I didn't like that I was made to feel uncomfortable at the establishment. The mattresses at this motel were extremely uncomfortable. And despite paying extra for a mountain view, THERE IS NO Mountain view. The couple next door smoked right outside their rooms so there goes your ability sitting outside your room in a smoke free environment. Restaurants in the area close at 8pm during tourist season.

Very nice, modern room and bathroom. Both were extremely clean! Bed very comfortable. Generally quiet but with the July 4th holiday there was occasional jovial noise! Not bothersome though. Office staff very pleasant. Easy check in and check out. Close to everything you need. Beautiful area with breathtaking scenery!

Hard to get service or find anyone at check in, immediately tried to upsell me on a less noisy room away from the road, bed wasn't made, jacuzzi broken. Loud country music blasting across the parking lot/hotel grounds. Would never recommend or stay here.

Overall nice place to stay

The room was nice and looked to be updated. The mattress was clean but very soft and sunken in, needed replaced. We had a room upstairs and had to carry our items. No elevator! And no luggage carts to transport luggage from our vehicle to room. Had to park across parking lot next to pool and our room was above the office. Staff was very friendly at checkin. We would stay here again as long as it was a ground floor room.
