Stayed here on a recent trip to Glasgow. Unfortunately I was in a room facing the railway. There was work getting done on the track which kept me up through the night. I understand this in no fault of the hotel however because it was a very hot day and the air con did not work I had to open the window. I usually enjoy my stays at the hotel but I felt a bit disappointed this time

60th Celebration Stay

Nice hotel and great location. Room was great and nice Breakfast. Let down was called ahead to place surprise bottle of Wine and message in my Mums room for her 60th Birthday. However hotel did not execute as promised. Apparently this was due to the bottle not being payed despite me offering to pay over the phone and being told to pay on check in at hotel. To top off was given 2 free drinks at the bar passed these on to my parents who then ordered their favorite GnT to then be told can only be used for Beer/House wine. Pretty embarrassing for me and my Wife. Simple comms not executed very well at all

Faultless in most areas. Great breakfast. Wee bit of noise from the trains and late night revellers but it was friday in a city centre.

Hotel has been nicely renovated, is in a convenient location and staff where polite and helpful, but depending on room allocation can be very noisy- I was unfortunately very close to train tracks, which run very frequently and very late. Was fine for me but wouldn’t be an option for families, young children.

We enjoyed our stay here and that staff was very helpful and friendly! It was centrally located in Glasgow and few steps away from several restaurants and train station. I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family.

Convenient to train station

One night stay close to Train station. Unless you want a pretty long walk to the station you will need an Uber or Taxi. Front desk was helpful in arranging transportation.
