The room, spa and hotel in general is great as are the reception staff.
The stay is just marked down on the service of the concierge who was rather negative rather than helpful, although I do get the feeling he may have been a stand in rather than permanent staff
The other surprising thing was that housekeeping knocked on the door with "I just wanted to see if it was empty so that I could clean... when will you be gone so that I can clean?"
It should be on the system whether I have checked out and the room free? I find this annoying enough at premier inn and don't expect it at the Blythswood.
These are small points but a trip to the Blythswood is supposed to be magical and relaxing and these staff members' actions let the hotel down on this occasion
