The hotel was lovely and the staff were great. The hotel is right by several pubs, a McDonald's and a Wetherspspoons so plenty of places to eat. There is no parking at the hotel so you have to park at a structure around the corner, which they do give you 50% off so keep an eye out for that email fom the hotel. The area around the hotel looks a little sketchy, but we never experienced any issues whatsoever.

Hotel stay was at best was okm. Rooms were tired and overpriced. Two lifts were not Working during a busy check in period. Bar was overpriced for cocktails. Woke up in the middle of the night due to pipes knocking and air conditioning system whining. Probably won’t be back.

Did not honour the room booking

After all the trains to London were cancelled again. Myself and a couple of thousand others were forced to book a hotel for a night. However, despite booking and paying in advance. I was told that there was no room available. Would not recommend to anyone

I have repeatedly booked here l find it comfortable homely and lovely decor. Always clean plus friendly if you need something no hesitation they will go out of their way to bring it about. love the view from my room plus like chilling in the Executive Lounge Food good and great variety .

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel and very pleasant staff. Stayed in executive room with access to executive lounge which was worth the little extra paid. Breakfast was particularly lovely and the egg station great. All staff at breakfast were exceptionally friendly and extremely helpful. Room lovely with toiletries.

The toiletries in the room were excellent quality, with a nod to the environment, no wasteful packaging. There was a fruit bowl in the lobby which was regularly refreshed with good variety of fruits. Also, water urn and fruit infused water. Very close to central station, very near shops, entertainment venues .

While the location was very good and the staff and service were also very good, the room itself had virtually no space for clothes. Other than about six hangers, there were no drawers or other places to put your clothes. We had to live out of our suitcases - and I haven't done that since my college days - not something I like doing in retirement.
