Cottage 'Le Petit Duc' with Mountain View, Private Terrace and Wi-Fi

In the heart of Cathar country, 4 km from Puilaurens, this pretty gîte in a small village in the Aude Valley opens onto a quiet, enclosed garden.



Close to the Cathar site of Lapradelle-Puilaurens, this gîte is located on the edge of the Boucheville forest, in a small village in the upper Aude valley, at the gateway to the Pyrénées-Orientales. On site, you'll enjoy numerous walks starting from the village, white-water sports at Axat (14 km), visits to the castles of the Cathar region, swimming and leisure activities at Parc Saint Bertrand in Quillan (24 km). Tourist train from Axat to Rivesaltes. Horse-riding available on reservation. On-site documentation on the historical sites and sights of our beautiful region.

First floor: living room with fully-equipped kitchen and fireplace (wood supplied). Cross the alleyway to the enclosed garden with terrace, garden furniture and barbecue. 1st floor: 1 bedroom with 2 single beds (90 cm), which can be twinned to form a 180 cm double bed, private shower room and toilet. 2nd floor: 1 bedroom with 1 x 160 cm bed, private shower room and toilet. 3rd floor: 1 bedroom with 1 x 160 cm bed, private shower room and toilet. Private parking in front of the gîte.

Wir haben trotz der anhaltenden Hitze einen sehr schönen Urlaub hier verbracht. Das Steinhaus war auch bei Temperaturen jenseits der 30 und 35 angenehm kühl. Vielleicht wären Fliegengitter an den Schlafzimmerfenstern noch eine gute Ergänzung. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
