Excellent view, not far from GSMNP and Gatlinburg

House was clean and in almost-new condition. It was a nice escape from downtown Gatlinburg but still easy to access the park and downtown activities. Grocery store not far up the road between Pittman and Gatlinburg. Super happy I could bring my dog as well - but be advised the floors are all hardwood and glossy, my Lab had a hard time walking around without slipping. Still would give 5-star review. The view from the top floor was unbelievable and getting to wake up and see that every morning was really special.

Great vacation rental

We booked this vacation for an all-girls family birthday celebration. The cabin could not have been more perfect for our needs. We all had our own space for privacy but also had the fantastic hot tub, game room, and dining area to play games and hang out together. Johnny was a responsive and friendly host who truly cared about ensuring we had a great trip. They even provide an e-book with ideas for the area.This cabin is upscale, beautiful and was in a quiet safe community. Yes, the drive up can be a bit intimidating, but if you take it slow and are smart, it's doable and so worth it. I highly recommend this property & host!Thank you Johnny for letting us enjoy your beautiful cabin!

Great Cabin for Bachelor Weekend

We had 11 guys stay for a bachelor weekend and everyone was beyond pleased with our cabin, especially for the price. Lots of fun games and stuff to do, well-outfitted kitchen, beautiful views, and multiple large Smart TVs were the highlights. Johnny’s communication was excellent as well. Only nitpicks I could think of would be the 10am check-out and that we couldn’t find the 3rd floor porch light switch, and a few of the lamps on the other porches were burn out.I would absolutely book again!

Absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cabin! The location was perfect – nestled in the peaceful mountains yet close enough to all the attractions. The cabin itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with cozy touches that made it feel like home. The views from the deck were breathtaking, especially during sunrise and sunset. We enjoyed playing pool, and soaking in the hot tub after a day of hiking. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house is absolutely gorgeous and is located in a very nice area. The renters are super easy to work with and very friendly! Loved the property!

Amazing place and view. Highly recommend. The kids loved the game room. I think most of all, i liked the communication from John. The hill lost their water supply when we arrived. The host helped us with vrbo and with our refund! Thankful!

Gorgeous cabin with amazing views!

Perfect property—everything was so clean, the beds were super comfortable, the views were outstanding. The kitchen was fully stocked. Hot tub was awesome and the kids loved the game room and the giant bean bags. My husband and I played Golden tee and pinball for hours. We’ve recommended this cabin to friends and would certainly encourage anyone else as well. You will love it! Five stars!

Great stay in the Smoky Mountains

Highly recommend staying at Moonshine Mountain! House was very nice and well appointed, and had a wonderful view of the Smoky Mountains. 25 min drive to downtown Gatlinburg or white water rafting. Our family loved our stay and wished we had more time.

Fantastic property, location and host! You can’t go wrong!

I like to keep reviews simple and honest. Johnny (the host) was stellar at communicating with me. Messages were replied to quicker than I had expected. He went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had more than what we needed. Awesome host to work with. The house is set nicely in a quiet area with a beautiful view of the Smokey’s. The game room upstairs was more than we had hoped for and everyone got in on the games and time together watching movies. The view from the top deck is phenomenal. The beds were comfortable, the house nicely decorated and was clean and stocked well and everyone was comfortable! If you are reading this and are debating booking, know that I am picky and have high expectations. Johnny and his property met and exceeded those expectations. Book with confidence!

Fantastic Mountain Getaway

Beautiful views from a cabin that checked all of our boxes. Family vacation with our adult kids (7 of us in total) had plenty of room for both group activities and alone time. Host communicated well to answer questions in advance and make check in and check out easy. Far enough from the tourist areas for solitude but close enough to enjoy them. Be prepared for steep mountain roads to get there, but worth the drive.

Our group of 7 adults and 5 children (age range 1-11) had a wonderful stay. This beautiful house is well stocked, very clean, and beds were comfortable. The kids absolutely loved the game room. The views are spectacular from the many balconies.Communication from the owner was also excellent.

Clean, spacious, great views! A little steep, definitely recommend SUV/pickup. Owner was responsive within 1-2 hours within business hours, pleasant, gave recommendations on local attractions, restaurants, etc. Kids had fun in game room, hot tub. Definitely recommend.

Best of the best.

Where to start... The property is BETTER than advertised. It was beautiful, clean, up to date, well stocked, on and on. The beds were fantastic. It's at the top of the hill, and the view is wonderful. You can see a couple of properties below it, but it doesn't really impede the view. Lots of thoughtful touches included as well. It could have hosted another half a dozen people with the beds and layout, so we had more than ample room for our smallish group. Love the place. We have stayed in the area several times and this is our new favorite.

Thanksgiving Family Trip

We had the best time in this cabin! The host was very responsive. All the kitchen utensils you need to cook a thanksgiving meal (turkey breast, ham, gravy, green beans, corn, rolls, pecan pie, pumpkin pie, pumpkin roll). Amazing breakfast utensils, griddle for eggs, pancakes, French toast, and sausage. We also made chili and gnocchi soup. Kitchen is definitely well equipped! The views are the best from the 3rd floor deck, and if it’s too chilly to sit outside, just spin the sofa around to face that view instead of the television! And the outdoor chairs were so comfortable we had to find them online to buy for our own home. The kids loved all the games, but the barrel video game was the hidden gem, it had so many games and we failed to explore it until the last night! Just do it!
