Know before you book

The good and the bad about this property. No reception. No luggage storage. Two stories and no lift so you carry your luggage up steps. No air conditioning which means you need to sleep with open windows. Property on very noisy street. Loud cars and neighboring bars. Personally I did not sleep at all. On a positive note the facility is new and very clean.We called to ask questions and staff was very nice. Location is central to bars shopping restaurants.

Problematic.

The property is self-check in and self-serve. If you have poor internet connectivity, getting in is tricky. The room is pretty sparse compared to even a budget motel. Two beds. No table or desk or chairs. Basically only comfortable to sleep and bathe. The hotel could do with a few more basics in this regard. Also the beds are firm to the point of discomfort and the lack of A/C is problematic.

Very clean and tidy stay near the center of Galway. We were able to self check-in with no problems and the property features the best of both worlds, hotel and Airbnb. The concierge was very helpful via WhatsApp.

Tricky check-in that needed internet access, no A/C, no parking, uncomfortable beds, did not feel safe, no amenities. Close walk to town. No hotel staff on site. Beautiful room with brand new everything —room amenities were all thought through and never felt like we were missing anything. Such a pleasant stay with convenient parking and so close to the popular Latin quarter to enjoy Galway’s thriving nightlife! Thanks for a wonderful time!
