The most expensive rip off we have ever had

I have done everything possible to complain to HOTELS.COM about this holiday but no response has been received . This hotel was advertised as refurbished. It was the worst value we have received anywhere in the world. I am planning to take further action as non of my complaints have been acknowledged . Some nights I paid £240.00 for this. I was expecting a delux room. The cheapest night was £186.00 . I just still cant believe it . It should have been advertised as in dire need of refurbishment.

The hotel and staff were great. The beds and air conditioning made our stay comdfortable. Unfortunately some of the guests didn’t respect the quiet times and quiet signs posted outside the doors. The breakfast and service were good. Some added food variety would be great. Overall we had an enjoyable time. You must check out the wonderfully designed bar.

Location was pretty walkable to almost everything! Loved that. We arrived really late and had a warm welcome by the front desk. I didn't realize until later that they had called me to check in about our arrival. I didn't have my cell service on. I was a little worried about our late check-in but they didn't seem to mind. Rooms were clean, loved the addition of the in room AC. If you can't do city noises, I'd suggest finding something a little off the main area as this was right in the middle of all the fun.

the room smelled like grease, and the AC was low, so when it was hot you had no choice but to open the window, which led to a higher smell of food and grease from the next door restaurant. It was impossible to sleep and our clothes had that smell of food and grease for days.

Great location and beautiful hotel except the carpets are worn, old and not clean. Aside from that a lovely hotel. Service on the whole was excellent with the exception that they were not organized enough when it came to an item (medication) left behind: they called me to tell me that they found it and agreed to hold it a few days for me to return, but then when I returned no one knew where it was. Costly medication lost.
