Comfortable House to Vacation At

This house smells clean, is well maintained, had comfortable bedding. Located near the West End Marina. Great place to stay at! You can even see a bit of the ocean from the balcony.

It was good but I do wished there were beach towels like the listing and the book at the house says. We did not know until we received a text 2 hours before check in. Otherwise, all was great.

Well maintained house, love the tasteful beach decor throughout. Owners were easily accessible and eager to help should issues arise. Would happily stay here again!

We had a perfect few days away. The home was beautiful, clean and comfortable! Drive to the beach is quick and easy-parked on the beach and spent days on the beach having great family fun!

Just lovely!

The layout of the house was great, and the neighborhood was a perfect distance to the beach. I highly recommend renting a golf cart to optimise your beach visit! The owner was helpful and responsive when we had an inquiry and provided feedback. The kids loved the ping pong table. The kitchen was well stocked to cook dinner. Thanks for the great visit!

Nice weekend in April

April showers bring May flowers. Although the weekend was mostly rain and clouds, we had a great family gathering. The house has all basics to stay, eat and play. Beach access was not an easy walk from the house. Bring something with wheels to help carry your gear.

Well-stocked and comfortable

My closest childhood friend and I and our 5 boys, aged 9, 9, 9, 10, and 13, enjoyed our stay here. The kitchen was well-stocked and the garage housed plenty of entertainment needs. The boys enjoyed the fenced back yard and outside shower. The living spaces were comfortable with plenty of seating, and Sea Isle’s amenities, the pool, 1/2 gallon margaritas, marina, and pier, were easily accessible. We truly had a wonderful time.

Great stay at West End

We’ve stayed at another property on the West End that we loved, but we needed a bit more space this time. We had a great stay here overall. Comfortable. Clean. I will say the listing probably needs to be updated that the fishing pier is not available to guests. That wasn’t a dealbreaker but good to know. Bring your beach towels and toiletries. The other place we stayed provided EVERYTHING and this place did not so just a tip. We loved sitting on the deck and hanging out together. Beach was a quick drive away, and overall, great stay!

Momcation and kidcation 2022

This house was beautiful and well equipped with everything you would need for a beach vacation. Literally bring your swim suits, food, snacks, water and hit the beach. The house is walking distance to the beach or a very short drive. The beds are comfortable. The outdoor space is relaxing. The outdoor shower is perfect for getting the sand off - or teen boys who don’t want to wait for all these girls to finish upstairs! Check and check out super easy. Plenty of fridge space with the garage fridge. Smart TV’s, Wi-Fi, all the amenities to stay in touch. Games for everyone to enjoy. This amazing review can go on and on because we have nothing but great and positive things to say about this property. We had the time of our lives and will be back. Also, go eat at the restaurant in the neighborhood- it really is as good as everyone says it is.

Great House with a Bug Problem

We really were hoping that this house would live up to the great reviews. When we arrived, we were excited that the house looked great and appeared clean. However, within a few hours, cockroaches started appearing in the kitchen. They were in behind the stove, in the drawers, cabinets, pantry and the coffee prep area. We found a can of roach killer in the kitchen and sprayed the few that we saw. We were hoping that would be it. It wasn't the end however. We saw more and more over the next day and called the management company to notify them of the issue. They asked for pictures/video/proof for the owner. I sent the pics and videos as requested. The next morning the owner text messaged me that they could send out an exterminator to take care of it. The exterminator came and put some sort of gel in a few spots in the kitchen and then left. A few hours later, we saw roaches in the kitchen dying (presumably from the gel). We were hoping this was it, at last. It wasn't. We started seeing more and more and more that day. We notified the owner via text. They offered to allow us to shorten our stay and reimburse us for the night we'd be cancelling. We did take them up on that and packed up and left that next morning. The bugs, without a doubt ruined our vacation. We were constantly worried about them getting in our stuff, on our food and watching them crawl on the floors, walls and everywhere in the front part of the house. It was unpleasant for sure. The owner was pleasant and relayed that they were sorry this happened on our trip but didn't offer to make it up to us in any way. Its family tradition to celebrate our daughters birthday here. She very much looks forward to it. We have been coming to Galveston for 12 years and we have stayed in vacation homes for 10 of them. This has never happened to us before.

Awesome neighborhood!

The property was perfect for our group of 10 ranging from ages 2-88! We played the games and enjoyed the neighborhood pool and park areas. It was very close to the beach. We rented a golf cart which I would recommend. It made it fast and easy to get around and kept the sand out of our cars! The host was quick to respond to us!! We had a great time!!

Great rental

This property and community were great. We had a dance competition at Moody Gardens and it was an easy 30 min drive. Beach access was very convenient and neighborhood was perfect for kids to ride bikes and play outside. House was clean and had everything we needed plus more! Will definitely stay again.

perfect place to unwind

Our family and friends had an amazing time. The beach was a short walking distance or drive from our location. The host was responsive to our call. We would definitely recommend this to our friends and family. We visit Galveston yearly but this ranks among the top of our stay.

Feels like home

The family enjoyed the time. The house was perfect! Near the beach with everything you need and more. The place has a grill and beach chairs, pin pong table for some family games, board games, kitchen appliances and even toys for the kids. It was the perfect place for our family vacation.

Family vacation

Absolutely beautiful, relaxing, and everything we needed! Highly recommend, will definitely try and rebook anytime we are in Galveston. Beach access is directly across the street from the neighborhood and the vacuum in the garage was a god send with the sand and small kids! The park down the street was the perfect wind down for the kids at the end of the day as well. Loved every second, and the hosts were super speedy responsive with any questions we had.
