I like the suites and the location. I was very disappointed in being put in a handicap room. I was disappointed in housekeeping- my dishes were not in cabinets they were in dishwasher. They didn’t touch my dishes for 3 days. They threw my personal pillow on the floor and left it there.

Very nice & helpful staff! Cleaning crew didn't have our room ready when we got there and checked in around 5:30 pm so we had to switch rooms..other than that it was a great experience!

New and Modern, but There are Issues

Pros: The bedding and feather pillows were very nice.
Cons: Take out the ridiculous automatic light switch in the bathrooms and install a regular switch!
Location: The location is at the intersection of I-45 and the exit for Texas City. There are a few restaurants nearby, and the beach is 25 min away.
The hotel is only 7 weeks old, but there are some kinks. The light in the bathroom is automatic, so it went on when I entered the room around 9:00 pm and didn’t go off until sometime in the middle of the night. At 4 am I got up to pee, and the lights were off, but they came on like high beams and stayed on! In the morning, I let the girl at the front desk know that the light stays on forever, and she said she would call maintenance. Imagine my surprise when I got back at 10:00pm and the light was still on (with the bathroom door closed), and housekeeping had not cleaned my room. A total disappointment. Breakfast was included, and there is a choice of prepackaged egg things that you can heat in the microwave. Also oatmeal and cereal. But only one waffle maker, and the line was long every morning waiting for it.
