lots of construction around the property to weave through to get to the hotel. The people staying at the property were not friendly and we went to the pool for the 10 pm - 11 pm adults only time and a lady was in there with two very small kids and blocked the entry into the pool and the other entry was blocked by a narcissist who began exercising in the pool and literally splashing water all over my friend in the pool and me while I stood outside the pool. She had zero concern for anyone around her. So not the hotels' fault but just left a really bad taste in our mouths with how rude other guests were. The pool during non-adult only hours was monopolized by a family of 5 screaming kids.

Such a lovely place to stay with a warm and home-like feel. Enjoy the wilderness theme throughout. Everything was welcoming and clean and the continental breakfast is fantastic with great tasting coffee! Will always be our choice in hotel when visiting Galena!
