The first room we checked into the bathroom door was off the hinges and hidden behind the bedroom door, it fell on me when i moved the bedroom door. The second room had a big hole in one side of the bedroom door and a huge break on the other. The front desk knew about the 2nd rooms condition and who knows how long the doors been busted. The first room was much nicer, overall I wouldn't stay again

The lady at the front desk was very sweet and we were very late arriving. The bed we had was the worst bed I have ever slept in. The middle of it was concave and I have had better sleep on an air mattress. I am not sure how it got more than 2 stars. Never again would I stay here.

The properly was not well maintained. The sheets had a hole in them and the comforter had a stain. It was way overpriced for what it was. The ice make didnt work and it just wasn't a nice hotel. The room said "lake view". What a joke. There was a moss filled stream behind some trees. We spent the night to go to Lale James the next day. It waa close to the lake which was convenient.

Staff was very nice and accomodating. Continental breakfast was great and bed was very comfortable. Room could have been cleaned better....we were missing a pillow and there was a chunk of soap that wasn't ours in the bathtub. I understand Covid protocol, but I'm concerned about all the extra plastic going into the landfills (plastic wrapping of bread, plastic juice bottles, etc.

A wonderful stay

After an all day reunion at a nearby lake we decided to stay here, instead of driving 3 hours back home in Chicago. It was perfect: clean rooms, nice pool, and a perfect breakfast the next morning. We've stayed here before, and definitely will again.

Wonderful experience

We stayed while on route from Connecticut to South Bend. We stayed in the hospitality suite, which was wonderful for us with 2 teenage boys. We had our own room and they each had a queen size bed. The staff was friendly and courteous. When I complained about the lack of hot water while checking out, he aplogized and offered to take a bit off of our total.
