Upon arrival, the reception desk lacked attentiveness toward guests. There was no prior notice or explanation regarding hotel parking fees, which was disappointing. The reception desk should have a minimum of two staff members available—one to assist walk-in guests and another to support guests who already have reservations. Several kitchen requests were ignored, and I had to remind staff multiple times to place a new request. Room cleaning service was consistently delayed. Having a laundry room and an ice room would be greatly appreciated. The bartender did not appear very knowledgeable in cocktail preparation. Additionally, the restaurant’s breakfast schedule should be extended until 12:00 PM. Charging an additional 22% for ordering breakfast to the room feels unreasonable, especially when the restaurant is part of the hotel. This does not reflect good customer treatment. Room walls should have better acoustic treatment, as high-pitched voices and pets barking could be clearly heard. On a positive note, the room interiors are very attractive, and the shower water pressure was excellent. Overall, I am unsure whether I would return. I hope these concerns are addressed to improve the overall customer experience.

Loved the Albert! Stayed for one night with my wife and young boys to explore Fredericksburg for a quick trip. Located on Main street and able to walk to the main destinations (One block to Pacific War Museum, 3 blocks to the Park, plenty of German restaurants). Staff were friendly and accommodating. Main lobby and bar were decorated beautifully for Christmas. Rooms were clean and spacious and quiet. They alao have a small park within the grounds. You can park on the street or pay $25 to valet in a garage across the hotel. They also accommodate dog owners but there was no dog smell in our rooms. They had a fully stocked bar in the room for purchase but was bummed they didn’t provide basic bottled water as free amenities especially for the nightly price. Would definitely come back and stay at the Albert. It was probably the most expensive hote but ot was worth it!

Family of 5 with 3 Yorkshire terrier - friendly staff (including valet parking staff), location is a 10, common areas are clean, spacious rooms, no pet fee and they offered food bowls and bed for our furry friends. The only reason I’m giving a 4⭐️ is because there was just 1 tiny trash can (there one in the restroom), no microwave and / or mini fridge.

The rooms are spotless, location perfect and rooms are beautiful. Bar and restaurant staff are just ok, five star hotel but they are just 3 star. Front desk and valet staff are 5 star and they work hard to fix the mistakes by the other staff. Overall we had a wonderful time.

Spotless room, extremely luxurious, comfortable beds. Beautiful hotel right on Main Street. Within walking distance to everything you would want to do in Fredericksburg. We did not try The Restaurant, but we did enjoy coffee and pastries at the Pharmacy. Courteous staff.

The room was great, the only things that were not spot on was the room above sounded like kids running and jumping like wild animals. The other thing that hurt the experience were other guests smoking marijuana in the corridors, which was noticeable the minute I stepped out of the room.
