The location was convenient,staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was Ok. The condition of the room was not so good - esp. bathroom needed repairs and general maintenance.

Great location. Perfectly comfortable and adequate for the price. We enjoyed our dinner and it was helpful to be close to the airport and the falls.

the hotel was in a nice place, but is very old. Is very big and not a lot of employes. The breakfast is poor, not tipical brazilian. The best is that you are close to the airport.

Not the Best Value

Even 2 star hotels have hot water available at the sink in the bathroom. This hotel only has hot water as it comes from the shower head. There were so many switches in the room that you could not figure out what turned on what. The toilet seat was broken. The air conditioning did work as it can be very hot and humid in this part of Brazil. Free Parking. The breakfast offerings were minimal.

nice hotel close to the beach.

One day a week fantastic market at the front door. Kitchen facilities to enjoy the fresh food. Close to buses that cheaply take you any where in the city. Walked the Copa and Ipanema Beaches and lost 15 #. Muito Bom

Old hotel needs some TLC

Hotel is old and rundown. It needs new paint inside and out. Beds are not comfortable and Decor needs to be updated. However for the price you pay , you can't complain too much. It includes breakfast which is decent. Only stayed for 2 nights. If it was for longer, we definitely would have found something more comfortable

Grand older but good holiday hotel. Mixed guests.

Enjoyed 3 days in this quiet and comfortable hotel. Room Verandah overlooked the beautiful well kept gardens. Sunset in full view. The pool was nice needs a bit updating. Remember Latin American standards are not like the Aussies standards . Id go back again.

Hotel is old but.has character. Gardens and pool great. Large rooms. Staff helpful and pleasant but not much English spoken. The lady on the booking desk was. Great.

Good ubication hotel

Hotel is located between falls and the city.. Transportation is ok but you can find taxis any time. The staff is gentle. Rooms are old but clean. The city is ten minutes away and has restaurants everywhere. The airport is 15 minutes away. If you wanna go to Iguazu falls in Argentina is really easy by taxi. Don't forget your passports.

Our stay at the Iguacu Holiday Hotel

We had intended to do some sightseeing but I got a bad cold and didn't feel like doing that. We decided to go on to our farm in Argentina. We hope to go back to this same hotel in March when we return to Brazil on our way to Mexico and then to the US. The fellow at the travel agency at the hotel even took us across the border through all the checkpoints and to the bus station on the Argentine side. The manager at the hotel was extra nice in helping us with our internet connections. The restaurant was more than adequate. We ate two meals there and enjoyed both of them. The staff at the restaurant were pleasant, helpful, and efficient.
