Book a hotel near Fortezza Medicea, Siena Historical Center

"I enjoyed my stay there. It’s right on a major street so car noise is an issue. But there was also an Eurasian Blackbird that sang ever morning so that helped. "

"Our stay was wonderful. The hotel was perfectly clean and well appointed. The location was fabulous, across from the fountain and at the base of the escalators taking you up the hill to the cathedral. Finding the hotel is difficult. Make sure you come in from below or you will find yourself driving down tiny alleys like I did. There is no sign outside but the the hotel is directly across from the three arched grotto containing the spring/fountain. Our hostess was so kind and met us outside and helped us in with our luggage. There is parking behind the hotel but it is hard to find from the street. Highly recommend. "

"This hotel had lovely rooms and in a great location! Walkable to everything but quiet at nighttime. Our room had two rooms and a balcony, which we used frequently. The staff were very helpful, including helping us book tickets to live music. Would recommend this place to friends!"

"There are no words for the service and comfort at Athena. The staff at the front desk as well as restaurant and bar went above and beyond to anticipate our every need. The hotel offers the hospitality of a private inn with all the amenities of a four star hotel. A special shout out to the team at the front desk. Leaving them was like leaving dear friends. "We had a really good stay at the Alma Domus. Great location with one of the best views of Siena right outside. Comfortable and large bed, excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend and if return would choose again. "
