Excellent experience in the heart of Marfa! This was our first visit to the town, and we could not have been happier with this property. Although Marfa is small, the location really does make it easy to get everywhere you want to go.The rental itself is also fantastic—Lauren was communicative and prompt. Easy check-in. Firm but comfy bed with high quality, poofy pillows (which we were so grateful for after staying in one too many VRBOs in the past that had sad, flat pillows). In the living room, great couch and also a great comfy lounge chair that replaced the two very simple chairs in the photos. The kitchen had everything you need, except no dishwasher but we were ok with that. Omg and I almost forgot the steam shower— it felt amazing, especially after a long day hiking around Big Bend Ranch State Park. Great hot water that stayed consistent temp and nice water pressure in the shower. We visited with our two dogs, and it’s important to note that even though this unit does not have access to the backyard, there is a very small fenced side yard off the kitchen. However, our dogs are well behaved and we actually let them out in the front lawn to potty and just kept a close eye on them.We cannot recommend this place more!! Book it. You won’t be sorry. We hope to come back someday with friends and book this unit and the one right next to it. Thanks again Lauren for everything!
