We had a brilliant stay once the villa was cleaned as we arrived very late on the Friday night and it hadn’t been cleaned, other guest bedroom had been cleaned and we could sleep in there, messaged the next morning and cleaned right away, villa was fantastic, comfy bed, home from home, pool was great, sitting at the dock was relaxing, location was fantastic for visiting areas around west Florida, we certainly would recommend and would stay here the next time we are in Florida

Incredible vacation for our family

We loved everything about our accommodations here. We were looking for a place to stay where we could unwind with our two small children and this villa certainly delivered. We went swimming everyday and really enjoyed cooking all of our meals in the well-equipped kitchen. Highly recommend this beautiful home.

Property Manager Wonderful!

Very nice property, well maintained and clean. The only down side is the major road that it is located on. We had a couple of issues during our stay and the property manager was very prompt in correcting the problems.

Always a great place to stay.

We have stayed here several times before and enjoyed each visit. The solar heated pool is one of the best features. The home is starting to show a little wear but nothing to detract from the visit. Kitchen is lacking in bakeware, such as cookie sheet, pizza sheet, muffin tins. Items that might be good for longer stays.

Beautiful home and clean home. Centrally located close to everything.

My family and I traveled in the month of November, so there was a little chill in the air. The pool didn’t heat up like I thought it would so we didn’t get to use it. The house was located on a busy road so there was a lot of traffic noise. Other than that it was fine.

⸻The pool itself was warm and enjoyable, but several aspects of the property and stay were disappointing. The pool and dock lights were not working, limiting use in the evenings. The location was also not ideal—it’s on a very busy road next to an abandoned house, which was not apparent from the listing. While the house appeared clean at first glance, the floors were extremely dirty—our white socks turned black. There were also multiple inconveniences. We were told a handyman needed access on our second day to change a lock, despite there being no issue, requiring someone to stay back. We were also told the pool service would come on Thursday, but no one showed up. On checkout day, the house manager arrived at 9:00 AM while we were still packing, which felt intrusive and was not communicated in advance. Although the manager texted to ask our checkout time, they did not wait for a response before arriving. There was also conflicting information—the VRBO listing states an 11:00 AM checkout, while the in-house instructions required 10:00 AM.We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals and have not experienced this level of inconsistency and lack of coordination.

Disappointed

Have never been checked in and out of a property in Cape Coral. I feel bad for owners, who live in Germany, and trust their people. The house was on a very busy 4 lane road, we got used to the noise, but so many issues. The floors were absolutely filthy, our brand new socks and feet were literally black from walking in the house. So glad that it wasn't hot, because we couldn't turn down the thermostat below 74⁰, I addressed this to owner before we came there. The weather was cool at night, but got to mid to upper 70's but we couldn't use the pool. Solar didnt keep up. No dish cloths or towels. We understand buying soap, paper towels and toilet paper and garbage bags etc. The guest bathroom tub was so old, to a newly renovated home, it was black on the bottom. Sadly, we wouldn't rent agian in Northern Cape Coral, we would go farther south.

Beautiful Cape Coral Home

The home was very tastefully decorated and very well equipped. The solar heated pool was very relaxing and enjoyable. It was vary nice to be able to enjoy the pool without having to go anywhere. This was our first "snowbirding" experience and first time in the Cape Coral area. The Pros: very nicely appointed, beautiful furnishings, lots of nearby restaurants, lots of things to see and do. Beach chairs and beach toys provided along with bicycles, coolers, etc. Some of these items were left by previous occupants and some provided by the hosts. Wifi worked great and was fast enough for Netflix. The Cons: Located on a somewhat busy street (45 mph speed limit), lots of road noise that filtered into the house, some of the adjacent houses were boarded up from hurricane damage and many were vacant and in disrepair. This created an eyesore from the property. Some houses were kept up nicely, but others were not. The beach by the river was very small and was about 20-25 minutes away. Ft. Myers Beach was 45-60 minutes away but is a much larger beach on the Gulf. Parking there is a problem and the road in gets very congested and backed up (1 way in/out). There is an electric charge for the house if you use over $20/week or $80/month. We had to pay an extra $39 and we had the ac off for 1 of the 4 weeks we were there. Overall the house exceeded our expectations and I would definitely stay here again. The Boathouse and 10twentyfive restaurants are a must. Lovers Key state Park in Ft. Myers Beach is a great place for sitting on the beach, kayaking or hiking. Pine Island is great for sunsets and exploring. Captain Cons restaurant on the northern tip has great food, desserts and happy hour beer prices. Six Mile Slough is also a great visit in Ft. Myers. Lots to see and do.

Just what we needed - gorgeous property!

We booked and stayed for around a month, driving down from Toronto (wife, myself and 10 year old boy). The property is stunning - the house is super clean, all amenities you would need to transplant your lives for a length of time. The landscaping is gorgeous, right on a canal - loads of wildlife - bunnies, iguanas, birds. The pool was perfect and warm, well maintained. The house itself is beautiful, open, spacious, clean and has everything you need for a stay. The check in process was simple, booking even easier. The owner is very communicative when needed and all issues upon arriving and during your stay taken care of immediately. We were working while down there and internet strength and consistency were of concern but we were obviously concerned for nothing . 2 adults online all day working and our little one in virtual school - no issues with speed or connectivity. The location in respect to amenities is very convenient - close to shops a quick run to the beaches and if you need to fly (which I did) only a few hours from Fort Lauderdale. Only 2 things that gave us pause was we had inquired upon booking if there were any additional charges over what was listed and were told no. Upon arrival we were informed there is a hydro (electricity) overage charge if we go over a certain amount per day (the base amount was a little low based on the avrg usage in the area), upon check out as suspected we went over and were told to pay in cash - this was a little off putting as I rarely carry cash. This should have been outlined prior to booking. The second thing is the road noise. This house is on a busy street and at times can be quite loud at night. I only point this out so you all know but aside from noting this, it did not impact our enjoyment. This was just what we needed after a long year locked down and a cold winter. I would recommend this home for a stay!

Wiederkommen!
