"Loved this place! Oozing with history and early 20th century charm. So historical. Came here late June 2026. Went to a star party at McDonald Observatory the night we stayed here and Fort Davis next morning. No food options in the hotel, but that is not an issue. Several options nearby. Room was clean, comfortable, large, had high ceilings, and cool. Bathroom kind of tiny and minimal counter space. Not a big deal though when you factor in the other positive elements. Kids enjoyed the shared pool that was a short walk away. Would absolutely stay here again."
