Relaxing Getaway at the Lake

We really enjoyed our stay here. Chris provided us with plenty of information prior to our arrival, so we were off to a great start! The cabin was very well laid out with plenty of storage space for everyone's things. We were pleasantly surprised to find a large crate with bedding and blankets for the dogs. The beds were comfortable and made for a great night's sleep. We enjoyed the hot tub, and the view of the lake during the day is great. There were a couple hiccups, but Chris took care of things right away and we were very impressed by that. We travel a lot and know things happen - it's the response that counts and we had a great experience with how things were handled. Bottom line - we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful lakeside cabin

So many good things to say about this place where to start...Sit on the deck and watch the wildlife on the lake ...sit in the hot tub and enjoy the solitude... have a fire and watch the sunset ...and the inside is as comfortable as you can get...planning on returning next year .

Wonderful property. Nice place for family with many activities in the area. Kids loved kayaking and fishing, the park nearby was very nice, we went into Branson for some fun also. Great memories. Chris was great to work with! He worked hard to make sure everything was perfect for us. Beautiful place. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful property!

We absolutely loved this property!! So quiet and relaxing but just a short drive to all of the fun and action! The house was fully furnished which is sometimes rare! We all sleep with fans and usually have to buy or bring our own but they had them for each bedroom! Spices and about everything you need in the kitchen already there! Plenty of paper towels and toilet paper also! We will definitely be back!!!

Wonderful stay!

There were 12 of us staying at this place over Thanksgiving. The property manager was quick to respond to any questions I had. The place has a nice setup and everything you need (except for filter water and ice). It opens up to the kitchen, dining room, and living room. There are two bedrooms to the right and two to the left (no hallways). All bedrooms are the same size, with king beds, bunk beds (except for one), and a full bath in each one. It has a patio or balcony with a hot tub looking at the lake. It is perfect for a large group.

Comfortable Stay

This property was perfect for us, having 4 bedrooms with 4 attached bathrooms. The beds were comfortable and it was right on the lake. It was nice to have a fireplace this time of year.

Great experience!

Everything was exactly as stated in the listing…house was very clean and rooms were very spacious. Loved that there was a king bed in every room and private bathroom for each room! There was a very minor issue with one of the tubs and the property manager was extremely responsive and the issue was fixed immediately…very impressive! We spent time outside and the amenities are perfect…very quiet safe neighborhood. We would go back again!

Relaxing and Beautiful

This house was so well kept. We had plenty of room for 12 adult ladles. Was my 60th birthday celebration. The pool qas great and had a blast. Leaving was easy and not much cleaning needed. Love this place. Will be back with my grandchildren. Thank you for the great memories.

Family Vacation

Our family vacation included a group ranging in age from 7 to 92, coming from Norman, Edmond, and Tulsa, OK, and Chesapeake, VA. Unfortunately, our dates came in the middle of the hottest, wettest summer in recorded history, which resulted in a pea-soup algal bloom in the lake, and oppressive humidity on the shore. Fortunately, we booked Dogwood Inn! The cabin was so nice and included so much to do and enjoy indoors we never even wanted to go outside. The four bedrooms—each with its own bath—were perfect for our five families. The spacious common area let us enjoy video games, card games, dominoes, puzzles, conversations, and serious snacking all at the same time in the same space. Our host, Chris, was wonderful before, during, and after our stay. He said the cabin was not officially ADA compliant, but the ramps, low thresholds, and spacious interior presented no obstacles to our walker users. The ONLY challenge we encountered was that the faucets were all plumbed backwards in terms of hot and cold locations, making water temperature control a little tricky, especially for the little guys and the adults who rely on automatic muscle memory and habit to turn on the tap. Dogwood Inn was impeccably clean, stylishly decorated (cabin style) perfectly appointed, and decidedly welcoming and comfortable. If I could have thought of something more to ask for, I would have asked and Chris would have responded. But I couldn’t.

Amazing Stay!

Great VRBO stay! Power went out one night from bad storm and owner messaged immediately to make sure we had everything we needed. Wifi needed to be reset to get a better signal, but honestly who needs it when your on amazing spot on the river with a beautiful view! Close to attractions and town, 10/10 would stay again 👏

Relaxing stay

We really enjoyed our time. The house was set up nicely for a large group. We were able to have adults have bedrooms/bathrooms on one side of the house and the kids on the other. Nice layout. Any issues/concerns we had were immediately addressed by the owner. The only downside I could think of was not being able to fish off shore from the property. The water level was very low so seaweed near the shore was an issue. But the 3 kayaks and/or the docks a short walk away helped that out. We left with great memories with lifelong friends that we haven’t seen in two years!

What a great place! Plenty of room for four families, amazing location with beautiful views, so relaxing! The owners were the most responsive and caring that we have dealt with. Wish they were all like them.

Wow is an understatement!

This property was truly an oasis. They provided everything we could have needed. To have all the beds AND 4 bathrooms was fantastic. This place is just perfectly accommodating and a peaceful retreat.

We had a fantastic stay. The cabin was clean and well stocked. I have never stayed somewhere that offered a hairdryer in every bathroom, so thoughtful! The communication with the owner was excellent. We loved it so much we are looking at our calendars to see when we can go back! Would HIGHLY recommend

Great house. Plenty of room for large group. Love the layout. Unbeatable view!

LOVED THIS PLACE! Couldn't complain about anything even if I wanted to. Beautiful clean house. Perfect kitchen/ common area for cooking & serving larger groups. Plenty of things to do both indoors & outdoors. We went at a weird time of the year so we experienced a temp range between 32-80 during our stay. The house was able to correct temperature very quickly when called upon & keep up which I can't say is true for all the places I've stayed. Hottub, best Lakeview, comfortable king beds plus bunks for the Littles, short 3mi drive to town for groceries/ dollar general/ fast food/ Starbucks. Place was great, Host was very kind & responsive, look forward to staying here again!

Perfect Getaway

This property and vacation is what we needed. The house was amazing. Fully stocked with everything we needed and plenty of room for our family of 6 to spread out and just be. The kids loved the kayaks so much we actually changed up our plans and stayed at the cabin and decided not to go into Branson. The pool was great. Shallow enough for my 5 year old but deep enough for my husband to do cannonballs to entertain the kids. Chris was fast to respond and was helpful on suggestions for fishing.

Cleanliness was top notch Location within the cabin community was the best, beautiful views and easy access to water- Upon first appearance, community and pool looks dated but the inside of this cabin is anything but! Highly recommend for large family get together!

Brother's birthday and Father's day trip

Our family really enjoyed our weekend. The house was awesome! We had 12 adults and 3 kids and were comfortable. The deck was our favorite place to gather. Great views. We didn't have any luck fishing. The water in front of the house and around the docks is shallow and covered with water weeds. It isn't mentioned in the info about the house, but there was plenty of firewood stacked under the deck.
