"Americo and his family were very nice and attentive, he gave us a lift to Negombo thermal park, made some calls to a local boat rental company and offered to take me and my family to the port at the end of our stayed. Just keep in mind that the hotel is 30 min walking from forio port"

"No safe facilities so we had to carry passport etc all the time. Balcony door did not close securely. Reception often not manned. The inside of the hotel was very clean but outside lacked care and attention, however pool was clean. No proper bar facilities as did not serve wine and on some occasions ..."

"We selected Samiramis as a bit of a splurge to recover from the marathon travel day from San Francisco. The staff were very helpful with arranging the airport transfer and early check in. The property was beautiful, with 4 thermal pools and wonderful views. We had thought we might have a day at Poseidon just down the road, but we enjoyed Samiramis so much, what was the point? We were certain we had made the right choice when we ran into the crowd leaving Poseidon at the end of the day and did not see a single smiling face. We could barely contain our own smiles in the paradise that was Samiramis. Top marks for the staff, the pools, breakfasts, cafe, landscaping, the room, location, nearby dinner options, convenient bus stop. Wish we could have stayed longer."
