Firstly check in took 50 minutes. The room blinds were broken, there was mold surrounding the window also there was hair in the bath tub. People were playing and beating on the door all night and screaming in the hallway. The lifeguards neglected actual emergencies (my friend saved a baby in the lazy river) but some how they had the nerve to call me out for thinking my daughter was 6 and under in the outdoor jacuzzi and when I let them know she was indeed 7 they accused me of lying. Just overall a bad experience.

Check in could be a lot faster, I waited in line for 50 minutes! Room was clean but couples things needed to be fixed. Closet door broken, couldn’t get a couple outlets to work and tried several outlets but toaster still would not work. Staff was nice and helpful though.

Our 4th year coming to Timber Ridge. Friendly staff comfy beds and fun at the waterpark! Resort is a little outdated but gives it rustic charm. The only complaint is the water temperature could be a few degrees warmer.

Check in was an DISASTER. We waited in a line of 30-40 people for over an hour to check in. Our room size and amenities were fine. The light switch for the light and exhaust fan in our bathroom would not turn off, there was a freezing cold draft from outside (it was 3 degrees) in our room because of the gap where the seal had deteriorated around the AC/heat unit on the wall, and when we arrived, there was garbage on the floor in the bathroom and bedroom. Friends that traveled with us found garbage on the floor in their rooms as well. The water park was great, other than one very grouchy lifeguard who felt the need to blow his whistle every 5 seconds over every single child breaking rules that only he (no other lifeguard blew their whistle) enforced. He made us (the paying customers) feel really uncomfortable like we were being monitored constantly, instead of them watching swimmers for safety. If you are management, he wears a navy shirt and a beanie poolside. He needs to be spoken to about how he treats guests. We’ve been to Timber Ridge for 5 years straight and have never had this kind of experience. You can tell they are struggling with staffing.

Staff was courteous but we arrived at 3:50 for a 4:00 check in and had to wait 55 minutes. Really challenging with small kids after a long drive. The room (2 bedroom countryside) was fine. There were many areas that needed to be cleaned and it felt kind of scummy. We were disappointed that our fireplace didn't work which the kids were super excited about. We contacted the front desk twice to no avail. We also had a bathroom fan that banged endlessly in the wind. We did get that taken care of. All in, it's a lot of money a night and we expected it to be nicer.

Room and water park were clean. The water was cold. The locker rooms do not have a changing area. The showers do not have a place to put your towel or clothes. I won't go again.
