Stunning room let down by faulty facilities
Our two-storey room was absolutely stunning with an exceptional view from both rooms. It was let down by a broken ceiling fan accompanied by a replacement plug in fan which was also faulty. A couple of items that we were told would be in our room were not there, but otherwise it was very comfortable. Dinner service at Dasheene restaurant was lacking. Having been asked for my dietary requirements several times, I was still presented with a fish amuse bouche. This was not ideal for a vegetarian on her honeymoon. Breakfast service, on the other hand, was very good.

Our stay at Ladera was nothing short of enchanting! We spent almost a week in this paradise on earth. The grounds were meticulously maintained, and the view from our room was simply breathtaking. We couldn't resist taking countless photos of the mesmerizing scenery! Throughout our stay, the staff were friendly and professional. While I wouldn't classify Ladera as a top-tier luxury hotel, it undoubtedly ranks among the most splendid places we've ever had the pleasure of staying. Each morning, we woke up to the tropical sun, birds singing and the gentle caress of the jungle breeze. What an unforgettable experience! Although Ladera features only one on-site restaurant, it exceeded our expectations (as some reviewers mentioned it was repetitive). While we ventured to dine at a few other places, including the Sugar Beach Resort restaurant, none could rival the culinary delights we found at Darsheen. Despite the several bug bites during our stay, the allure of the open-air rooms was worth it. By the way, the room was equipped with insect repellant, after bite, eye mask, earplugs, binoculars, etc, and the US power sockets. I wholeheartedly recommend Ladera to anyone seeking a truly magical retreat. From its idyllic setting to its impeccable service, it's an experience not to be missed. 😊We plan to come back 😊

A truly amazing experience. We stayed for 4 nights in a paradise ridge room with a small pool in the room. The view of the pitons is simply spectacular and you feel immersed in nature. We had a few birds wander in and out from the open end of the room. Had no issue at all with mosquitoes mentioned in other reviews. We love to sleep in cold temperatures and the lack of AC was not much of an issue. A cool breeze every night even required a light cover. The staff is simply amazing, professional and extremely accommodating. Caroline worked some magic getting us a reservation at Orlando’s in Soufrière, which in my view is a must visit. All in all, the visit exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend a stay at Ladera. Well worth the money. We are already making plans for our kids to visit on their anniversaries.
