Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite Wet Room: Shower, Toilet. Central heating, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Balcony with outdoor furniture. 1 dog welcome, to be kept on a lead. No smoking.. Located on the first floor, Seashore Apartment offers a cosy and comfortable break no matter what time of year. You can never tire of the ever changing 180 degree sea views from the balcony, and if it’s a little chilly, there is a stylish pebble effect fire to keep you warm and snug.

The sitting room is light and bright and inviting. A sofa bed allows couples with children to enjoy the apartment, and the kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Fish lovers will want to visit Griggs Hythe where you can buy fresh fish caught each morning.

If you want a break from cooking then Sandgate has many restaurants including vegetarian and vegan options, as well as of course, traditional Fish and Chips. Folkestone’s famous Rocksalt restaurant is a few minutes’ drive, and well worth booking in advance.

And to work off all the lovely local cuisine, there are endless coastal walks into Hythe and Folkestone. This romantic bolthole by the sea enjoys far reaching sea view and is great for coastal walks.

Short stay in Sandgate

Had a good stay in this charming flat. The building was below standard, but the flat itself was perfect and there were a lot of little touches - wine in the fridge on arrival being the main one! Not really suitable for pets as no outside space and no access to beach during summer period, but we managed and would definately stay again, but without the dogs.

Schlechte Ferienwohnung

Bereits von draussen macht die Wohnung keinen guten Eindruck. Drinnen war noch schlimmer, der Ofen war total verdreckt, staub überall and eine schlechte Ausstattung. Die Wegbeschreibung war irreführend und enthielt nicht mal die Kodenummer für den Schüsselbox, der auch nicht schriftlich erwähnt wurde. Der Verwalter, cottages.com, hat schonmal für eine andere Wohnung schlechte Arbeit geleistet. Der Urlaub ist dennoch gut gelungen, trotz grotten schlechter Ferienwohnung.
