The room and staff were excellent. We were in the wonderful Jr. Suite which was spacious, had a very comfortable bed (difficult to find in Italy!) and we were able to log in and watch Netflix on a cold rainy dark day. Unfortunately, on Christmas night, there was a party in the alley beneath our windows. They were very loud, and the sound echoed very loudly up into our room. They carried on well past 2AM. I had to wear earplugs to try to sleep, but my poor husband was up and wide awake until after 3AM. He was tired and was upset that we booked this beautiful room, and yet got no sleep.

What a gorgeous room! Art Deco design with plenty of space and amenities. We stayed in a King deluxe room with a very comfortable bed, refrigerator, coffee maker, safe, wardrobe, dresser and anything else you might need. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed breakfast one morning (not included), which was delicious. Location was great as well. I would definitely book this hotel again!

La Maison du Sage’s staff greeted us on arrival, and escorted us to our room. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The hotel has an upscale feeling, despite the vacant neighboring building. Everything was walkable from this location. We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed in the family suite, which was amazing! Even better than the pictures!! Super spacious with a large entryway and living room. It had old historic charm with completely new and modern updates. Full size fridge, dishwasher, oven, range, and air conditioning.

Travelled to Florence with our family of 5. The room was more than accommodating however we booked this particular hotel as it listed there was a bar lounge but there was not. They offered us a happy hour however when we arrived we were turned away because it was closed for a private event. Location was great.

We haves stayed at this hotel four times, including two occasions this trip, and enjoyed each visit but frankly found it a little better the first couple times. They used to have an afternoon tea/proseco session for the guests in a comfortable setting within the hotel. On our first trip this service wasn’t offered and though this stop it is, the setting is now a cold sterile outside gravel covered seating area. We love this conveniently located hotel with great rooms and wonderful staff and hope to see it return to its better days.

Centrally located hotel walking distance to most attractions in Florence. Room is spacious and clean, with amazing staffs. Only downside is reception only open certain hours but not an issue for us.

This is not just a hotel, reception greeted us in a friendly manner and our room got ready in few minutes to check-in. All the staffs are friendly and welcoming, you will feel you are in your home. Room was clean with a beautiful decorations. Breakfast was awesome and Acenzia is wonderful and caring when you have breakfast with an exceptional customer service. This hotel is a museum with plenty of places outside of room for relaxing and super close to everything in the beautiful city of Florence. We hope to have a chance to stay here again.
