Very pleasant hotel. Slightly outside the city centre, but it’s only a few minutes’ walk from the station, the river and Santa Maria Novella. The surrounding streets are mostly quiet residential with hardly any traffic. Breakfast is served on the 5th floor which has amazing views over the city. Hotel Kraft sits on the SW edge of Firenze north of the Arno in a very quaint neighborhood. The staff are verybwelcoming and polite and have helped several times making arrangements on our behalf. The rooms are spacious by European standards but the walls can be a little thin, so ask the staff to keep boisterous guests quiet. While we didnt have a chance to dine in,the rooftop has amazing views of the city. For those who have plans to stage out to thr coubtrysidr, the majority of car rental offices are nearby as are their storage garages making walking to and from very easy for adventuring out into Tuscany. This is the 3rd time I've stayed at Hotel Kraft over the last 10 years. I appreciate many aspects to the hotel. I did think the breakfast wasn't as fresh and good as it was in the past, and I wish the was more accessible with a gradual walk in, as I was unable to use it.
