The hotel room was in extremely poor condition. The AC did not work, and we found a standing fan waiting for us in the room when we checked in. I requested a room change after night 1 for AC, I was told they could not guarantee the AC would work in any other room. The shower was dirty & had water stains on the ceiling and in the bedroom, baseboards were falling off the walls, and the wallpaper was peeling in many places. Overall, I felt truly uncomfortable staying in this room.

Grossest hotel Ive ever stayed in.. room stunk like cigarettes, bathroom smelled like sewer gas, wall paper peeling off the walls, mold in the bathroom, our door lock didnt work! Mattress had black spots on it and made a loud squeaking noise every time we moved. Service at front desk was very nice but based on the disgusting room alone, I would not recommend.

Great location: you can walk to everything. Older hotel, but still a great deal for the money and location.The staff was friendly and helpful. They contacted me ahead of time to confirm my arrival. Housekeeping was excellent. I definitely recommend.

Our mattress was so old you could feel the coils and then I realized one was stabbing me on the back through a Hole in the mattress!!!! Can’t believe they change the beds each day and do not replace it. Photos are not what you see online. Very messy and dirty. They slapped wallpaper up for a renovation. Do not recommend glad we only had two nights there.

Great location. Room was decent value for the rate. Clean. Some interesting design decisions - including the placement of a bidet in the very limited space between the toilet and the sink...precluding the ability to stand in front of either. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The pictures on the website are not comparable to the actual staff of the hotel. Hotel is old and not clean. The wallpaper is falling from the walls. The location is excellent and the staff was very good.

Amazing location. 2 minute walk to bus and tram stations and Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore. Staff was great room was cute with view of streets below. They provide a map and you are able to book tours with front desk. Parts of hotel are still under renovation but nonetheless, great place to stay for the money.

This was the worst hotel I have ever experienced in my life. In short, we arrived, there was extremely loud construction going on - someone was electrically sanding down the walls, we dropped our bag in the back where there was no security (wouldn't risk leaving anything of value there), we checked in later and they double booked our room so we entered our room and there was someones stuff already there, the room didn't look anything like the pictures, it smelled, was humid and felt disgusting. There was no air conditioning. We went down the stairs and the lights were flickering/strobbing with a buzzing noise straight out of a thriller movie, the toilet in the hallway had no lock and was filthy. Luckily, the gentleman apologized for double booking us and moved us to a hotel nearby for no extra charge. I will never stay at a 2 star hotel in my life.
