It was an excellent stay in a quiet street 5 mins away from the train station and about 10 mins away from the centre. Very easy to walk almost anywhere. The rooms are spacious unlike the norm in Italy, air conditioning and private shower. Very comfortable beds and a nice breakfast to start the day. Constantine for your assistance and a friendly welcome.

The host is very friendly and accommodating ("A"), and the location is very near the train station. Unfortunately the unpleasant incense smell at the front desk filled the place in a suffocating way; and voices anywhere from the front and hallways are loud in the rooms.

Enjoyed our stay

Location was perfect, being near the main station and also close to the sites. Although the interior was a little dated in appearance, it was clean and comfortable. The water was always hot for when you want a shower and standard toiletries were always replenished so you don’t run out. The staff were all friendly and helpful, especially Constantine who gave us invaluable advice and suggestions on what to do and where to go. I would definitely use this hotel again.

The owner is always present (it’s his family hotel for 70 years) and incredibly knowledgeable about Florence. He greets you at the elevator at any hour. He also gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations as well as suggestions on places that should not be missed. 10 out of 10 would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and delicious breakfast

This is a classic Italian family run hotel. Everyone was very friendly and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Location is very convenient and in walking distance to the train station, airport tram, and many of the sights in Florence. The elevator was an added and appreciated bonus.

Hotel Beatrice is a good, old-fashioned hotel with good, old-fashioned service. I loved the place. It has character, is safe, clean, and with excellent service -- they still provide maps! And the location couldn't be more convenient to the SMN Station and the city center. However, in truth I didn't have a great stay because I slept terribly due to street noise. I have the impression that most rooms are not overlooking the street, so just make sure you don't get a street view. It's nice during the day, but awful at night.

Close to the Firenze SMN terminal, so very convenient. We walked our bags there instead of paying 12 euros for a two minute taxi. Hotel Beatrice was special for the friendly staff, Constantino and his son, Daniel. They made us feel at home and gave suggestions on where to go and how to get there. We appreciated the hospitality
