This was the most amazing find!! Such a beautiful hotel on an amazing street and so close to EVERYTHING!! Monte and Alex checked us in and just wonderful! Our room was so spacious I left a garment lol .. and they arranged mailing it for us! Definitely would stay here again!! And definitely need to get back to Florence .. so magical

All staff members were very kind and responsive to the clients' needs. The location of the hotel is excellent and the room we were given was clean, quiet and air-conditioned. Very comfortable bed. If you have heavy suitcases ask the staff to leave them in a storage space downstairs. Before reaching the internal elevator leading to the front desk there are at least twenty steps. Excellent experience.

Great location + staff

Fantastic location! We were always max 15 min away from anywhere we needed to be. The room is very simple but has all the necessities. The shower has great water pressure and always had hot water. The staff is always helpful. You do have about 30 steps to the elevator so keep that in mind, and we did notice that the blanket in the closet had some stains on it, which is why I said 4 stars on cleanliness. They have water in the fridge for 1 euro which is super reasonable. A decent place to stay for a few days

An incredible hotel near everything. The staff was amazing, polite, friendly. Greatest service ever in an hotel. We don’t know the name of our host but rarely we have experience such an amazing welcome. We recommand +++ 10/10.

Perfect place to say in Florence

The lift starts one floor above ground level. Our room was one floor (steps not lift) below the office. If your party can handle steps then this is the perfect place to be in Florence. you are only minutes from the Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, and many other places tourists want to visit. Staff was very friendly and easy to work with. If you are driving have them arrange to park your car in the Garage Delle Terme. Nice restaurant across the street and a couple more at he end of the block

The staff was AMAZING. Very nice and friendly. They made me feel welcomed and explained everything to me. They walked us to the room and told us where everything was located from upstairs terrace to breakfast room. The staff was in constant communication with me making sure I arrived safely and made sure I had everything I needed to enjoy my stay. They even offered to safeguard my luggage for a few more hours after my check out. The room was very clean and beautiful. I was glad the air conditioner was already on when we went inside the room since it was very hot outside. We loved the room decor and definitely appreciated the complimentary wine bottle. This is one of the best places I have ever stayed in. I will definitely come back again! Hopefully very soon!!!!

The location is conscientious—a bit tricky to access at first, but once you’re acclimated, it’s actually quite convenient. That said, the biggest downside was the air conditioning. The hotel only offered portable AC units, which were completely inadequate during our stay—especially considering we were there during one of the hottest periods. The AC situation made the room miserably hot, and unlike other hotels we stayed at in Italy, this one did not have a proper cooling system. To make things worse, the cleaning staff would shut off the AC while we were out, so it would take 6+ hours to get the room remotely comfortable again. Also worth noting: since the AC was portable, the window was open, which somewhat defeated the purpose of trying to cool the room in the first place. Overall, not a terrible stay, but the lack of functional air conditioning significantly impacted our comfort. This place could be great with a better climate control system.

The hotel is in a good location, and the staff was friendly and made coming and going a pleasure.I enjoyed them all very much. The breakfast baked items are made in-house and there were good choices. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a lovely, clean, hotel with welcoming staff and a great location. As long as you have light luggage for the 30 steps up to the small life (and then possibly more steps depending on your room), you’ll very much enjoy your stay.

The location was excellent. Other than that, I would not recommend. The hotel states it has an elevator, when in fact, it has a lift that started on the 2nd floor. In the heat of summer, you need an elevator at your hotel for your luggage and after walking all day, who wants to claim stairs. Also, we had my elderly mother who struggled. We had 4 rooms and they were all average at best. In the middle of summer, the hotel did not have proper air conditioning to make it comfortable, even in the common areas.

Andrea was a responsive manager and upgraded us to a marvelous room that was very nicely renovated and LARGE! The bed was very comfortable and we had a view of the Ponte Vecchio --air conditioning was good and there was no street noise despite the location being so central. The ONLY drawback is the fact that there is no working lift and you have to drag your luggage up n down stairs yourself. I highly recommend the hotel hire a porter to transport luggage.

Hotel Alessandra was so wonderful. We've never experienced such welcoming staff each and every time we returned to the hotel. Monty and Harvey were such fun and so helpful upon our arrival. The breakfast choices were of good variety and tasty. It is true there are about 30 stairs as you arrive...but then there is a small lift. We lovedbour room with a view of the river and would certainly choose yo stay there again...it would feel like returning home. Thank you!
