I made a reservation for 2 twin beds. When I arrived at the hotel, the receptionist said it was a queen bed, but I wanted to exchange it for 2 twins. I should have done the upgrade for 30 euros a day for a larger room. I made the upgrade, but the room was too small, so I doubt that I actually received an upgrade. The bathroom was very small and old. The breakfast was excellent, and the location beside the train station was good, but the room was terrible.

Awesome area as it is across the train station which is convenient especially if you have a lot of luggage. It is also at least 20-30mins walk to sights if yoh don’t mind walking. It is also almost at ZTL and helps a lot of making sure you don’t cross the area if you are driving. Highly recommended!

We loved that it was across the street from the train station which was great for arriving and leaving Florence. Taxis go on strike and you dont know until the day before or day of. Its the city so surrounding area is a bit dirty but as you walk around its not too bad. We were 15-30mins away walking distance from everything which was great. The hotel room was warm. The AC was not working. The breakfast was good here and the staff was extremely nice and helpful
