Accademia Apartment - Four Bedroom Apartment, Sleeps 6

In the heart of Florence, just steps from the Accademia Gallery and the Duomo, an elegant apartment on the second floor (no lift) of a typical Florentine building. Spacious and bright, it sleeps up to 6 guests across 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms: the perfect base for families or groups of friends who want to experience the city on foot, among museums, historic workshops and great restaurants, with all the comforts of a real home.
A finely furnished apartment of about 80 m², designed for up to 6 guests: a cosy living room, a fully equipped kitchen (oven, fridge/freezer, gas hob), 4 bedrooms (2 doubles and 2 singles) and 2 bathrooms, both with shower, bidet and toilet. The home has a washing machine and WiFi and, on request, a cot and high chair for little ones. On arrival you will find a courtesy kit (shampoo, soap, toilet paper) for your first essentials.

The location is the real highlight: you are on Via Ricasoli, the street connecting the Duomo to the Accademia Gallery (home to Michelangelo's David). The balcony overlooks the inner courtyard of the building, for a quiet and private atmosphere in the heart of the city.

Good to know: The apartment is on the second floor with no lift. Check-in by appointment from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm (a surcharge applies for arrivals after 8:00 pm); we are always reachable during your stay. The house has a boiler: for consistently hot water we recommend showering one person at a time. The apartment is in a Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL): if you arrive by car, please write to us first and we will tell you where to park. The tourist tax is €6 per person per night.

Welcome! To make your stay pleasant for you and for those who arrive later, we ask you to read this little practical information. By booking the apartment, you accept the following.
Check-in and check-out
Check-in: from 14:00 to 20:00, by appointment. We ask you to let us know your arrival time in advance, so as to better coordinate us. Check-out: by 10:00 a.m. Check-in after 20:00: possible subject to the availability of our staff, with a supplement: 50€ until 22:00 · 80€ from 22:00 to midnight · 100€ from midnight to 02:00. Check-in after 02:00 is not possible.
Guest registration (legal requirement)
Italian law (art. 109 TULPS — R.D. 773/1931) requires us to communicate the identity of all guests to the public security authority. Upon check-in, we will then ask you for a valid identity document for each guest (for foreign guests, a passport). Without this data, we cannot deliver the accommodation to you. This is a requirement for all accommodation facilities in Italy: we record data only for the purpose of public security control.
Tourist tax
The City of Florence applies a tourist tax of 6.00€ per person per night, for a maximum of 7 consecutive nights. Minors up to 12 years old are exempt. (To be paid at check-in/already collected from the platform — adapt according to the booking channel.)
What is included in the rate
Air conditioning, heating, electricity, water, bed linen and towels, use of the washing machine.
Pets not allowed
Coexistence and neighborhood
The apartment is located in a residential building, so:
No parties or events are allowed. We ask you to respect the silence after 23:00 and avoid slamming doors. Smoking is prohibited inside the apartment. Any additional guests other than those indicated in the booking must be agreed with us in advance.
Heating and air conditioning
Heating: as required by national legislation (D.M. 383 of 06/10/2022), for the City of Florence, the system can be turned on from November 8 to April 7, for a maximum of 11 hours a day, with a temperature adjusted between 19 °C and 21 °C (tolerance included). Air conditioning: to reduce consumption and respect the environment, we ask you to use the air conditioner responsibly, maintaining a temperature of 19—21 °C and turning it off when you leave.

Keep your keys carefully. In case of loss or failure to return, for security reasons it will be necessary to replace the lock, with a charge of 50.00€.
Overtime interventions
For urgent interventions made necessary by improper use by the guest and requested outside office hours (22:00 — 08:00), a fee of 100.00€ will be applied.
Danni
If anything breaks or stops working, let us know: we'll check it out. No problem with minor inconveniences — we only ask for transparency.
Parking and ZTL
The apartment is located in the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), reserved for residents: it is not possible to park freely on the street without incurring a fine. There are two options: a paid private garage in the immediate vicinity (convenient but more expensive), or a car park outside the center (cheaper), from which to reach the apartment by public transport. If you arrive by car, contact us first: we will show you the best solution.
