It’s very strange to check-in to an overnight establishment & no one around(front desk). The rooms looked much nicer, on the website. VERY tiny room, but adequate. Walkable neighborhoods. Plan to return to Fernandina Beach, in the future.

Pros - 1. Great Location 2. Clean & well maintained. 3. Nice free breakfast included with the room. Not a lot of choices (a quiche, yogurt, toast, bagels, fruit), but tasty. Cons - 1. VERY limited parking. Maybe one space for every two rooms, plus they have a bar and patrons of that use parking. Quite difficult to find parking near the hotel. 2. The bed wasn't much softer than the floor. A good yoga mat on the floor would have been more comfortable. 3. Very noisy due to band playing outside at the adjoining property. Both nights the band played until 11:00 PM and it detracted from our overall experience. 4. Most of the rooms are on the upper level and there is no elevator. The facility does not appear to be ADA compliant, so if you have limited mobility, then this facility probably is not for you. 5. TV - a bit of a quibble here, as I really don't watch much TV, particularly while on vacation, but the channel selection was essentially the four networks, and maybe five other stations. Can't really recommend this property and I would not stay here again.

Loved the uniqueness of the inn. Our room was amazing with a super comfy bed. Loved the back patio and the porches. Great value for what you get. So convenient to everything. If you want to drown out any noise just bring a noise machine!

There was no parking reserved for guests. The lot for the house is open to the public and was full. Had to park around the block and carry stuff to our room. The building is right beside an outdoor nightclub. That's cool if you want to drink, but if you are trying to sleep not so good. Live band played till around 11pm. Aside from that, it was a cool old building.
