Not as great as it used to be

I’ve stayed at this hotel several times and always had a great experience with friendly staff. Unfortunately, this visit was very different. Most of the staff we encountered were not welcoming or friendly, which was disappointing compared to past stays. We had to ask for a couple things and it was like we were inconveniencing them. While the hotel has always been a nice, simple option for the price, this experience has changed my mind. Going forward, I’ll be booking my stays at the Hampton instead.

A very basic room

Basic accommodations. No housekeeping for a 3-day stay. "if you overfill your garbage bins, please gather the garbage bags and add them to the cans outside. Use the extra bags we've left to re-line your cans. If you need any additional supplies, they're available in the open supply closet." The paper products supplied (TP and Kleenex) are industrial grade.

The room was fine and served our needs. I liked that it was pet friendly. The breakfast was the exact same both days and it was just “meh”. They were out of syrup one day and the next day ran out of waffle batter when we were there. The eggs and sausage were just ok. Other various items like yogurt and cereal were good.
