Midwest paradise

Truly our time at Carlton landing blew us away. We had a great time with our 18month old. The restaurants are fabulous and the entire community feels like it should be a movie set! The property was beautiful, spacious, clean and felt like home. We will absolutely be back!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect layout for gathering of family of 10 + 3 littles. Some slept in another house nearby but this house had the space inc. sun room and large dining room table for hours of fun. Courtyard provided good space to monitor busy toddlers while outside. Loved the proximity to the pools, shops and great pizza restaurant. (Get it to go!) We barely scratched the surface of all to do there after 3 days.

It was a beautiful home with all the amenities you could possibly need! We had plenty of spaces to sleep, the perfect amount of bathrooms, a lovely indoor patio to hang out in, and a great living area to spread out in. The house is located in a great part of the neighborhood with easy access to the amenities onsite.

Great Weekend and 4th of July

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great extended holiday weekend. The location was exactly what we wanted with being so close to the action downtown and close to the lake pool. Parking was smooth right off the street, which was a concern initially, but I never had an issue. We were able to park a golf cart behind the rental next to the carriage house. Overall, the house was well equipped to support 3 kids and 4 adults. The furniture was like new, and everything looked great. Had plenty of kitchenware to cook and serve everyone. As with any LakeStay rental, everything was as expected and had plenty of towels and etc. Greatly enjoyed the outdoor fireplace to cook s'mores and grill to cook burgers. The screened patio was the perfect start to the day with a cup of coffee.

Best Location in Carleton Landing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Chelsea House was the perfect house for our family. It is less than two blocks to the largest pool in the addition. We were also less than two blocks from Tig's Pizza Place where the vendors set up on the weekend. My family stayed three nights, but my family wanted two more weeks!! We didn't really need a golf cart to get to anything, but we rented one the last day just for the kids. The house had plenty of room for all eight of us. The master bedroom is on the ground floor and is very spacious with a large bathroom and great shower. The younger people stayed upstairs and shared a very large bathroom. The kids loved the space outside the bedrooms to play the video games. The sun room did not have any air conditioning, so we could not sit there, but we did use it to put our floats and pool toys. There is a nice patio area between the Chelsea House and the neighboring house (patio belongs to Chelsea House) and my husband and I enjoyed this shaded area in the mornings as a place to enjoy our coffee. However, there is no shade in the afternoons. The house was very clean and was well stocked with kitchen cookware. I do wish owners had left us more kitchen soap and more soap for the washing machine. There is not a convenience store close by, and it was just too far to drive in to Eufaula. There is a marina store that sells beer, drinks and chips. This is one of the best houses you can stay in at Carleton Landing due to its location being close enough to walk to many features. We loved it.

Great family getaway

The process was simple and the rental was perfect for our family. Not to mention, Carlton Landing is a diamond in the rough. We will be back to visit soon.

Wonderful Get Away!

It is a quick 3 1/2 hour drive from DFW. You enter into a world where you step back in time. A place where you see kids out running around and riding bikes. Golf carts are the main transportation. The two pool areas are way too small for the crowd of visitors. We found a way to sneak in a bit of time here and there. Don't forget to try out the paddle boards and kayaks. There were plenty of those to use! The house was immaculate and has everything you need. Comfortable beds and linens. Perfect location. Wish I was there now!
