Lovely getaway

The property is nicely maintained and has everything you could need. The real highlights are the spacious balcony with amazing view and lovely pool area with a decent sized pool. It is also very close into town. We did lots of lovely walks either directly from the property or within 20 min drives. Gerard and his wife were friendly and helpful. Would return to the same area and property.

A beautiful and peaceful place to stay

We had a fabulous holiday in Esparron-de-Verdon. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts on arrival. Views from the veranda are spectacular, the pool was maintained by Gerard discretely every morning , who respecting our privacy at all times but also was available if needed. Recent house is a very comfortable place to stay with all the facilities you will require for a memorable stay. Bakery, places to eat and small supermarket in walking distance. A very peaceful village with beautiful scenery. Verdon gorge is in walking distance where you are able to hire canoes, small boats and kayaks and explore the gorge. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful accommodation.

Perfect place for a relaxing break

We stayed a week on our way back to UK from Italy. Esparron was not crowded at this time of year, our hosts were were warm and friendly and made us feel very much at home. The unit was clean, very well equipped. The views are breathtaking, and there is so much to see and do in the area. What more can we sya? It surpassed our expectations.

Wow! A real treat to stay here. Glorious views!

After driving through the scenic mountains we were greeted by Gérard the owner. He was very warm and friendly. He had booked us into a lovely small local restaurant as we arrived a bit later. The scenery was stunning from the balcony. The whole house was absolutely spotless and the beds were really comfortable. Everything was there that we needed. The pool was perfect as it was really hot. (July) . Just a wonderful place to stay and would go back . We can highly recommend.

Wonderful, relaxing holiday

We just returned from our holiday in Esparron-de-Verdon and could not be more pleased. The home was comfortable, clean and ready for our arrival. The views were spectacular and the pool incredible. Our primary intent was to relax and rejuvenate so we did very little - which was perfect. The area has many points of interest but the home is a lovely refuge and perfect for relaxation. The owners were gracious, accommodating and gave us plenty of privacy - but were there if we needed anything. They generously made a dinner reservation for us for my husband’s birthday (as our French is not good), and even mentioned the birthday to the restaurant. We definitely plan to return to this lovely spot in future.

Words cannnot describe how delightful our stay in this property was. Esparron-de-Verdon is a picturesque village nestled high in the hills. Wonderfully quiet and relaxing, our host Mr Burle was attentive and charming. The home far exceeded our expectations. 5 stars all round!

Au cœur du village d’Esparron

Logement indépendant et spacieux, très bien équipé avec une vue magnifique sur le lac.Piscine privative très bien entretenue.Nous avons apprécié l’environnement calme, la descente au village et à la base nautique par les petites ruelles à pied .Vous y trouverez des commerces de proximité et un petit marché 2 fois par semaine.Merci à Gérard et son épouse pour leur accueil et leur sollicitude.

Nous avons passe d'excellentes vacances a Esparron ! Le logement est tres confortable, bien équipé et tres propre. Maison superbe dans un environnement exceptionnel

Maison très fonctionnelle, agréable et propre avec un balcon sur lequel peuvent être pris les 3 repas de la journée. Une grande piscine privée, bien exposée, est mise à disposition et nettoyée tous les matins par le propriétaire. Les propriétaires (dont la résidence est située près de la maison) sont très sympathiques et accueillants, tout en restant discrets. Le centre du village d'Esparron ainsi que toutes les activités nautiques du Lac d'Esparron sont à minutes à pied. A proximité également : possibilité de faire des balades, le lac de Sainte Croix, les basses et hautes gorges du Verdon, Moustiers Sainte Marie... Bref un logement parfait dans une région magnifique dans laquelle les activités ne manquent pas !

Magnifique !

Nous avons réservé pour un mois, du 15 juillet au 12 août 2023 et avons passé de merveilleuses vacances. Tout s'y prête : le lieu, la vue (exceptionnelle), la maison, la piscine (grande et propre tous les jours), la gentillesse des propriétaires, ce si joli village et tous les alentours. La maison est encore mieux que sur les photos et le balcon se rapproche plus d'une terrasse. Nous recommandons vivement cette location !

Parfait !

Nous avons passé de superbes vacances, tant par le logement que par ce beau village. L’emplacement du logement est parfait pour se déplacer à pieds (village à moins de 400m): lac, marché, restaurant, supérette…départs de sentiers de randonnées. Le logement est conforme aux photos. Le balcon qui semble étroit sur la photo ne l’est pas du tout, son accès direct à la cuisine est très pratique. Cuisine, très bien équipés avec à disposition une plancha sur le balcon. La vue quand à elle est exceptionnelle ! On ne se lasse pas. Peu adepte des appartements, l’aménagement de la piscine sur le côté n’a pas été un problème. Cette partie, est très agréable, reposante, sans aucun vis à vis, ni bruit. Le propriétaire, qui est disponible et charmant, nettoie la piscine tous les matins. Amateurs de randonnées, ils y a de nombreux départs de sentiers. Je recommande vivement ce logement.

Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt und fühlten uns bei Christian und Elisabeth sehr gut aufgehoben. Sowohl das Haus als auch der Pool etc. sind sehr sehr schön. Das Highlight für unsere Tochter waren die Shetties und die Esel, aber auch die vielen anderen Tiere. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.

Hielt nicht, was es versprach

Internet ging von 7 Tagen an einem Tag. Holzliege krachte zusammen, weil sie so marode war. Küchenausstattung ist ein Sammelsurium von ausrangierten Gegenständen der Gastgeber. Der Gasgrill was sauber, hatte aber kein Gas! Sollte man als Gastgeber vorher checken.

Agréable séjour dans un très beau cadre

Location répondant à nos attentes : - parking privé - piscine (petit bémol elle n'est pas chauffée) - maison très agréable, terrasse avec magnifique vue - accès à pieds au village, pas besoin de voiture pour accéder à la boulangerie ou supérette. Mr et Mme Burle sont très sympathique. Très bon contact.

Phantastische Erholung in wunderschönen Umgebung

Meine Frau und ich haben uns zwei Wochen sehr wohlgefühlt in der sehr gut gelegenen Unterkunft mit Pool. Der Blick auf das Dorf und auf den See ist atemberaubend. Das kleine Dorf verfügt über Bäckerei und drei Lokale sowie einem Lebensmittelgeschäft für den täglichen Bedarf. Für Naturliebhaber ist die Lage des Hauses ideal. Der See ist in Laufnähe, Wanderungen in der Umgebung gibt es reichlich und auch größere Dörfer und Städte sind gut zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber waren äußerst aufmerkmal und unternahmen alles, damit der Aufenthalt für uns so angenehm wie möglich war. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Maison idéalement située au-dessus du village avec vue directe sur le Verdon er le château. Superbe emplacement

La vie en vert et bleu

L'appartement très fonctionnel a deux atouts majeurs : sa terrasse très bien exposée avec une superbe vue sur le lac et le village et sa très belle piscine particulièrement bien aménagée et entretenue. Au top!

Esparron de Verdon est une merveille dans un mouchoir provencal dans l'ombre du tumulte de Sainte Croix et de Moustiers. La propriété est un petit paradis sur le haut du vilage. En moins de 10 minutes, on déscend quelques marches et on se retrouve en famille sur un petit bateau à silloner le lac et à accoster les criques en mode picknic nautique. Au retour, tête dans la piscine privative et bbq sur la terrasse surplombant le verdon. Acceuil plein de gentillesse et de discrétion de M. et Mme Burle. Parfait!

Great stay at Esparron-de-Verdon

We stayed for one week at this great maison: well-equipped kitchen, lots of room, beautiful view on the village below and the lake beyond, and a lovely pool. Gérard is a friendly and perfect host who helped us whenever we needed him. Esparron is a good base from which to explore the Verdon region. The bakery is close by and sells fresh croissants each morning !
