During my stay, the hotel experience was extremely disappointing. The pool, my main reason for booking—was closed at check-in and the following morning due to a city shutdown, but this was never communicated to me, removing my option to cancel or receive a refund. This felt like false advertising. There was also a power outage, and no staff checked in with guests. When I approached the front desk, staff were rude, dismissive, and unprofessional; one employee raised her voice and accused me of seeking compensation. I was repeatedly told nothing could be done because I booked through Expedia. When I later called to file a complaint, I was placed on hold for a supervisor and the call disconnected after waiting over five minutes, adding to the poor service experience.

Nice accommodations. Decent food options nearby: Five Guys, Whole Foods, etc. It's within 6 minutes of Eagle Rock Observation Deck. Also, there's the Chit Chat Diner nearby which was excellent. I'll stay here again.
