In white Périgord, between Périgueux and Bergerac, come to relax in our delightful and ample périgourdine stone farmhouse-style cottage with its oven with bread (env.140 m2) any comfort, in a closed sported park of 5000 m2, with swimming pool privatory and reassured by 9 X 4 m - displayed depth 0,90 - 1,80 m full south
In peace, in some steps of strawberries's producer, ownership gives you three areas of life, the orchard, the inner courtyard with covered playground, and the swimming pool.

The farmhouse-style cottage is composed of six rooms :
Ground floor - a big equipped kitchen overlooking inner courtyard, a bathroom, a living room with big chimney, a dining room, a room -

A charming stone farmhouse

This charming stone farmhouse in the quiet area of Eglise-Neuve-de-Vergt in the Dordogne is an absolute joy to stay at. It is so much more than just an ordinary gite. Located just off a little lane about a hundred metres away from the local road. It is very well equipped and the rooms are quite large, spacious and comfortable. As the nearest supermarket and restaurants are a fair way off you may need to plan your shopping well, but as it is in such a peaceful spot I believe that staying here is a lovely and extremely pleasant little bit of paradise in the French countryside.

One Week in June 22

Well equipped house with lovely pool. Good kitchen and living spaces. Attic rooms, one of which is actually a mezzanine over the lounge rather than a separate bedroom, become very warm (weather was unusually hot during our stay). Our experience was partly marred by failure of agreed arrangements for access, resulting in delayed entry (requiring phone calls and email - apology received later), and need to deal with floors that had not been swept before our arrival (no apology whatsoever).

We have the following comments to make 1. We had the electricity fail,. It was necessary for us to contact Corinne, She confirmed that the "trip" had worked and reset it. We had no further problem with it. 2. We assume that should we have had a problem with plumbing then we would have required to contact Corinne. No information was supplied regarding this. 3 NO information was supplied as to how to dispose of our rubbish. 4, We were concerned aboiut the unpleasant smelling water which ran down the lane- outside the entrance gate to the property. 5 We noticed that the towels nor bed linen was changed whilst we were there. At the end of the first week the beds were used by a different family. 6. Our enjoyable holiday was spoiled when ,- the night before we left - we were informed that we ha broken the alarm system on the swimming pool.' When we arrived we were not given any information regarding the pool. At no time during our stay did the alarm sound. The children were 5 years, 3 years and 10 months old. At no time were they allowed in the pool on their own. One of the adults did notice that the pipe from the pool to the alarm was disconnected. The "poolman" said it had been broken by us. We had no means of disagreeing with him as we had never received any information as to how it worked.. Corinne produce , on her phone, .the cost of a replacement. She contacted the owners- we spoke to them and agreed that as we could not prove it otherwise we would pay for a replacement from our "damage account". We asked for the old alarm so that we could have it repaired and give it to a friend who was having a pool added to their property. This was refused. We were informed that it was essential for the old one to be given to the Assurance Company in order for them to replace it. We do not agree that we should pay for the replacement as well as the Asssurance Company. We would appreciate confirmation that the full 500 euros already paid will be refunded. Please pay this into the account from which it has already been taken. I would appreciate confirmation that this has been paid - email me please. We and our family enjoyed the holiday and house and pool. Maurice & Mavis Bellingham.

Great time, great place.

We had a great, relaxing time. Despite our plans, we rarely strayed from the house apart form the occasional trip into Périgueux (15 mins away). The house is lovely, the pool was great, very few people around. We would certainly return. Many thanks Hélène & Thierry

Decevant, plein de guepes, eclairage limite, equipement limite, proprietaire absent et ne respecte pas ses clients... Il est à 600km et il travail !!! Mais il control l'electricite, invente de faux problems d'electricite, piscine etc....Bref la réalité n'est pas aussi sympa que la photo !!! CQFD

Ruhiges schönes Landhaus

Tolles gemütliches Haus, sehr gut ausgestattet. Ruhige Lage. Alles wie in der Beschreibung und den Bildern. Aber Achtung - bei der Buchung ist die Reinigung nicht enthalten, muß aktiv nachgefragt werden, dadurch kann es leider zu Missverständnissen kommen. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen.

Séjour au calme en famille

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié le calme de ce gîte très spacieux, et largement profité de la piscine chauffée, même lorsque le soleil se cachait un peu. La région permet de nombreuses visites, sans oublier les producteurs locaux : mention spéciale à Daniel Bibié à la Ferme du Fraysse pour son accueil et ses conseils ! Enfin, le vaste terrain permet aux enfant de profiter des jeux mis à disposition, et de déguster les fruits du verger. Nous nous sommes régalés avec les prunes ! Le tout avec un accueil et un entretien terrain/piscine au top : merci à tous.

Séjour en famille

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette jolie fermette suffisamment grande pour nous 5! La piscine est un régal pour les petits comme pour les grands, chauffée à 29 nous avons pu en profiter même lorsque le temps etait mitigé. L espace jardin est fabuleux avec une balançoire très appréciée par les enfants. Les espaces de la maison sont bien entretenus et l ambiance y est familiale. Le petit cadeau de bienvenu nous met directement dans une ambiance chaleureuse. Tout était réuni pour que notre séjour se passe bien. Nous avons eu bien du mal à partir . J ajouterai juste que pour les personnes qui ne connaissent pas le Périgord la situation géographique est à une bonne heure des sites touristiques comme Sarlat etc... N hésitez pas! Nous on reviendra c est sur !

excellent séjour

Gite très bien équipé, linge de maison abondant et beaucoup de jeux disponibles pour les enfants. Un séjour très agréable pour toute la famille, petits et grands. Vu la canicule que nous avons eu, nous avons particulièrement apprécié les parasols et les ventilateurs. Merci pour tout.

Idéal pour se reposer et visiter le Perigord

Gîte très spacieux, confortable et dans un environnement paisible. Nous avons pleinement profité des espaces extérieurs qui sont bien aménagés : piscine, "cour intérieure" avec maisonnette où jouer au ping-pong, verger, etc. En cadeau de bienvenue, une excellente bouteille de Côte de Bergerac et un succulent pâté périgourdin. Wunderschöner Urlaub in einem tollen Ferienhaus

Ein großzügiges, gut ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit viel Platz und Gemütlichkeit. Sehr ruhig gelegen, und doch sind die Highlights des Perigord mit dem Auto gut erreichbar. Und als Krönung der Pool. Wir haben sehr angehme 2 Wochen dort verbracht.

Une adresse à recommander !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour malgré le temps un peu capricieux de ce mois de novembre; la maison est spacieuse, parfaitement équipée, bien chauffée et les soirées autour de la grande cheminée sont particulièrement sympathiques; nous avons apprécié également la décoration et l'ameublement, sobres et de bon goût. Même si nous avons assez peu profité du grand jardin compte tenu de la saison, nous imaginons qu'en été, avec la piscine, cela doit être très agréable et on se sent loin de tout sans être isolé car les commerces ne sont pas loin. Enfin les propriétaires sont joignables très facilement et répondent aimablement à toute demande. Bref une adresse à recommander ! et si nous avons l'occasion nous y reviendrons sans hésiter !

Un séjour vraiment très agréable, dans une maison spacieuse, au calme, avec une belle piscine (chauffée). Mon + grand bonheur: à la nuit tombée, pouvoir enfin à nouveau admirer un ciel tout étoilé, comme on n'en voit plus en ville! Bref, du bonheur en toute simplicité. Mon + grand regret: que le temps ne soit pas resté suspendu... ;o)

Tout simplement fantastique

Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses dans ce véritable paradis. La belle maison est très spacieuse, propre et très bien meublée. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les journées chaudes dans la belle piscine chauffée et la cour spacieuse, surtout pendant le petit-déjeuner et le dîner, a été très appréciée. La maison est située dans un quartier calme et est un point de départ idéal pour les nombreuses attractions de la Dordogne. Les propriétaires sont très gentils et toujours disponibles, si nécessaire. Nous recommandons vivement ce gîte et nous aimerions beaucoup revenir l'année prochaine pour nos vacances.

Séjour parfait et comme à la maison

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour d'une semaine en juillet (famille de 5 personnes avec 3 adolescents). La maison est très spacieuse, parfaitement équipée, rien ne manque. L'environnement est très calme. La piscine est très agréable, ainsi que l'espace devant la maison (table de ping-pong, pétanque). Idéal pour se reposer.
