Dettifoss waterfall, one of the most powerful waterfalls in Europe. It was about a half mile walk back to the waterfall and when we were there everything was covered with a pretty thick layer of snow. As we were waking up to the waterfall we saw this complete rainbow stretching across the whole waterfall. A few minutes later, we watched it slowly fade away. Luckily we were able to snap a few pictures before it was gone

We took a drive around the river close to Egilsstadir and stumbled upon this beautiful view.
Hengifoss is the third highest waterfall in Iceland and one of east Iceland's most stunning sights. The hike up takes roughly an hour not far off the ring road.
Steam vents in the Myvatn area. As soon as we got out of the car, the smell of sulfer was overwhelming. There were steam vents and mud pits and pits of boiling, almost black water all over this area.
