Vivienne was a great host 👌She began her help prior to us getting there. She was very welcoming and she always made herself very available with transportstion, pub and supermarket info. It was clean cozy room with nice view of her yard. The breakfast were very nice and she made you feel at home She even played soft classical Music in the background and pleasant details like she even put a chocolate Easter bunny 🐰 in each persons place on Easter 🐣 Sunday. Thank you Vivienne from the Miami Gals! Colombia and Cuba

Vivienne was very helpful and full of information! The house is lovely and right on the bus line to take you to the major attractions (and hop on hop off busses). It’s even walkable. The room was small, but functional, as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Edinburgh!

Our host, Vivienne, was phenomenal! The Sherwood house is a beautiful property and obviously well cared for. The bed was comfortable and we had a large bathroom in our room. There is a bus stop just a few feet from the property. We will definitely stay here again.

Very Comfortable!

Our family of 3 stayed at the Sherwood Inn for 2 nights. It was perfect! Breakfast was delicious. It was our 3 year olds favorite meal of the day both days in Edinburgh. The room was very comfortable for the 3 of us with very high ceilings and a nice en suite. I hope we find ourselves with more time in Edinburgh again sometime and we will definitely be staying here again. Thank you, Vivienne!

Fantastic Place to Stay

This is a fantastic place to stay. I read all of the 5 star reviews and they are absolutely true, I can definitely recommend staying here. Vivienne is a really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful host and we felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. It's in a perfect position to explore Edinburgh and the local pubs are brilliant for food and drinks. It's a really comfortable guest house and the breakfast is perfect to start the day. I can really recommend staying at Sherwood Guest House and I would certainly book again.

Had a wonderful stay at Sherwood Guest House. Spotlessly clean and bright room, breakfast was perfect, host was amazing, helpful and loads of local knowledge and it was easy walking distance to attractions or the bus right on the doorstep. Highly recommended.
