A great little hotel, tucked away close to the amenities at the eastern end of Princes Street. Our room and en-suite were spacious and well equipped, bed comfortable, staff were lovely and the cooked breakfast was wonderful. And all this at a price that was lower on Expedia than most of the "budget" hotels in the area.

The front desk staff were extremely welcoming, they were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless and has a lovely home from home feeling.I would highly recommend this hotel and I am already looking forward to returning.

Where to start. I did not eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food. While I had few interactions with the staff those I did have where wonderful. I love the room I had. Large comfortable bed, TV, WiFI, a desk and chair, a small seat under the window, and an interesting view out the small window. The bathroom was lovely. Clearly refurbished at some point with more modern appointments but still seemed to fit with the feel of the room. The water was hot, with a good flow, and loo was well lit. I love that they kept many of the old aspects of the building, beautifully encorporating them into various spaces with the modernisation work. I think my favorite thing, tho a bit silly, was the metal plate over the loo roll. So cute! I want one in my house. The mix of old and new really works toward a welcoming, peaceful feel to the place. I will definitely return for another stay!

There a constant weard noice coming from the roof constant baning every so often beautiful location and the room was stunning but it the nose really made it had to sleep making use up and down all night
